* AnnoyingVideoGameHelper:
** Seeing the same types of hints/restrictions for the same types of special blocks/switches ''every single time'' you pass in front of them, especially when trying to solve a completely different puzzle in the same area, gets very irksome.
** ''Lord of the Rings.'' The Dead Marshes. Gollum's "This way, hobbits!" very quickly becomes a MostAnnoyingSound.
** Conan O'Brien will be around the non-planet hub areas in ''Batman 3''. However, his little speeches about each area constantly loop and never change, tiring the dialogue and making you want to murder him. He's an invulnerable NPC, however, and unlike Alfred in the previous game, ''he cannot be muted''. And if you're customizing characters, you'll hear the same speech a few times over.

* GoodBadBugs: A [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHlqZj5uT3g bizarre glitch]] in Lego Batman 3 causes planets to become fused at complete random, completely screwing up their appearance, collision detection, and physics in hilarious ways. Want to swim in midair on the moon or walk upside down on the Hall of Justice ceiling? Now you can! Certain fusions also result in impressive SceneryPorn; Oa, in particular, appears to have [[ColonyDrop collided]] with the planet it's fused to.

** In "LEGO Marvel Superheroes", a lot of the jumping puzzles can be circumvented by switching to a flying character with no penalty for completing them non-conventionally. Iron Man is especially useful since he's often your hub character even while the main story is still going on, and appears in numerous story mode levels where this can be exploited.

** Nothing's worse than the Mandrakes. As soon as you go near them or pick them up, they start screaming and don't stop until you put them in the pot.pot - which is often hidden behind some other scenery you need to destroy first, meaning that you don't find it until later on in the scene.

** Jumping puzzles can get incredibly tedious with the number of attempts it takes to get them right, especially in earlier games (and some levels in the later games, though it's averted in the hubs now) where you couldn't select the camera angle. The animation is good, but not good enough to always give the requisite depth to gauge where your character is in relation to their environment and the jump targets. Depending on which console you're using, the button combinations required can make this even trickier, especially if you're playing on the Wii and have to target exactly using the movement of the controller at the same time as getting the combo right. Later games, beginning with "LEGO Jurassic Park", seem to have finally addressed this properly by having the characters lock on to their next jump target automatically, leaving the player just to worry about the timing.

** ''Lego Marvel's Avengers'' gets some flak due to being scaled back in terms of cast and variety when compared to its predecessor, ''Lego Marvel Super Heroes''. Namely, a number of characters who appear in the latter game do not appear in the former due to not having appeared in the Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse yet, and several of those that haven't appeared are being ExiledFromContinuity due to issues over the film rights. It's been argued that they should have just made a direct sequel to ''Super Heroes'' instead of making a tie-in to ''Film/TheAvengers'' and ''Film/AvengersAgeOfUltron''.

** Giving a custom character Mister Fantastic's abilities in ''LEGO Marvel'' results in a horrifying creature, due to the stretching arms and neck not being modeled for every skin. This gives them disconnected limbs and bizarre contortions that don't look right at all.

This gives them disconnected limbs and bizarre contortions that don't look right at all. Related to this, Kamala Khan's model in Lego Avengers comes across as a touch creepy in her idle animation in how her limbs stretch in a very disconcerting manner.
