* PanderingToTheBase: People who don't like particularly divisive movies such as the Franchise/DCExtendedUniverse or ''Film/TheLastJedi'' are very likely to love the show's inputs on them. It looks like it's more about roasting these movies than finding funny alternate endings to them.

** Some people feel that HISHE is quite biased in favor of the detractors of some highly divisive films, such as the [[TakeThat numerous jabs]] at the ''Star Wars'' prequels, ''The Last Jedi'' (which is mostly full of criticizing IdiotPlot moments), the Franchise/DCExtendedUniverse and ''Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull''. Supports of said films feel that this further worsens the divide caused by the movies, because due to the large popularity of the channel, it can invoke a big case of something among the lines of ReviewsAreTheGospel.

** "The Dead Pool" has the Marvel villains, along with [[Franchise/StarWars Palpatine]], [[Film/TheDarkKnight The Joker]], [[Franchise/HarryPotter Voldemort]], and [[Film/ManOfSteel Zod]] bet on who Thanos will kill in ''Infinity War''. Joker bets that Loki will try to kill Thanos after faking his death, Zod openly admits that he would be pissed if [[BadassAdorable Groot]] dies, and Deadpool dismisses the notion that Marvel would kill off Black Panther, going so far as to call it commercial suicide. Come the movie [[spoiler:Loki, Groot, and T'Challa, alongside many others, end up biting the dust, with Loki dying in a failed attempt to kill Thanos. Of course, for the very reason Deadpool pointed out, almost no one expects T'Challa to ''stay'' dead.]]

** After the ending of ''Film/{{Deadpool 2}}'', [[spoiler:Deadpool coming back in time to save Logan]] makes a lot more sense.

* CreatorsPet: Daniel Baxter is generally a bigger fan of ''Franchise/{{Superman}}'' than ''Franchise/{{Batman}}'' and in his shorts, he generally shows Superman at best being a SmugSuper and straight man, while Batman is an especially obnoxious and narcissistic take on the character.

** In ''Thor Ragnarok'', Loki tells Batman "Do you think I'm going to get people's hopes up and then ultimatly let them down when the time comes?" where Batman answers by saying "Yes." Come ''Infinity War'' [[spoiler: where Loki dies in a failed attempt to kill Thanos.]]
