When Hanna fails to kill Marissa and gets separated from Erik, he travels throughout Europe to search her and captures Marissa, holding her hostage to bargain for his and Hanna's safety. Eventually reuniting with Hanna, Erik takes her to her biological father to keep her safe while he plans an attack on the UTRAX facility. When Hanna decides to help Erik raid the facility, Erik [[HeroicSacrifice sacrifices his own life]] to ensure that Hanna and a girl they rescued can escape.
** Seasons 2-3: [[BlackAndNerdy Terri Miller]] is a CIA analyst who gets recruited into the UTRAX program, where she uses social media to communicate with the female assassins and give them commands, while helping them blend within public society. [[BecomingTheMask Growing to care for the girls]], Miller breaks Mari out from the Meadows, before helping her and Hanna dismantle UTRAX. Helping Hanna rescue the assassination targets, Miller would maintain her cover when Hanna's gets exposed and continues to provide her with information that allows Hanna to remain one step ahead of her enemies. Retrieving the backup algorithm containing all of Pioneer’s targets, Miller leaks the algorithm to the public exposing Pioneer’s evil deed and destroy their organization while giving Hanna and her {{Love Interest}}'s family new identities to live.
