* GameBreaker: In the second coming, it's possible to level up outside of the actual battles by running around and killing random encounters, any levels gained here are permanent and will affect your starting level in the actual battles. It doesn't really take all that long to level up, if you spend enough time leveling up it can render the rest of the game outside of the bonus levels pathetically easy, due to you being way overleveled for the content.

Added DiffLines:

* DemonicSpiders: Giant enemies in the second game. Trying to fight them without the Hero Castle will cause you to be kicked back to the start with only 10 HP remaining. Bumping into them inside a Global Dungeon (where the Hero Castle cannot be used) is even worse, as you will instantly be kicked back to the entrance and lose any acquired item.

Added DiffLines:

* ScrappyWeapon: The SummonMagic Stones from ''The Second Coming''. Unlike skills, the timer doesn't freeze during their OverlyLongFightingAnimation, and the amount of damage inflicted by the stones isn't all that great.

YMMV can't be Played With.

*** However, it's still missing some things, such as the music player, gallery, and the "Another Goddess" quest.
** Averted with ''The Second Coming'', which is not missing anything from its PSP version. Especially good, since the PC verison [[NoExportForYou is the only version available outside Japan.]]

** There's an Xbox 360 port which takes ''Half Minute Hero'', upgrades the graphics to a ''VideoGame/PaperMario''[=/=]''[[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaTheWindWaker Wind Waker]]'' like style, and changes the design of the other modes into more of a Hero 30 type but with different methods of attacking.
** The PC version, [[WordSaladTitle "Super Mega Neo Climax Ultimate Boy"]], appears to be more of this, including both the new graphics from the XBLA version, and the original, more fleshed out versions of the other modes from the PSP release. The developers even call it the "ultimate version".

* ItsEasySoItSucks: The initial modes available are all pretty easy once you understand them. Hero 30 gets progressively harder and throws you more curveballs as you continue, but the strategies for Evillord 30, Princess 30, and Knight 30 never significantly change.
