I don't get how a realistic sex scene is 'disgusting', when it reflects how cats have sex in the real-world. Troper who wrote that also seems to think it'll be somehow 'less' disgusting if they were anthropomorphic instead of realistic looking cats, which has Unfortunate Implications and YMMV. I've replaced the statement with a more neutral tone.
* SignatureScene: ''WesternAnimation/{{Felidae}}'' is largely known only for the very explicit, shocking, and disgusting sex scene between two [[SlidingScaleOfAnthropomorphism minimally anthropomorphic]] ''cartoon cats.'' To a lesser extent, it's known for it's most gory scenes, such as the one with the disemboweled pregnant cat.

** Francis's narration directly denies this trope in ''Salve Roma!,'' which has a confirmed homosexual character, Antonio. Francis is shown to be homophobic when he discovers Antonio's preference, but not so much that he can't accept the other cat as a friend despite his discomfort, and he insists to the readers that the friendship is just that.
