** Edd/Kevin (Kevedd) is incredibly popular, despite that there isn't too much talking between them on the show. True, Kevin seems to like Double D a little more than Ed and Eddy (like everyone else, including Sarah Edd used to be paired up with most characters too but now the large majority of the fanfictions pair him only with Kevin)), but there are still only three scenes where he's friendly to him in the entire show, and all their other interactions involve Kevin insulting or bullying Edd.

** In "Tinker Ed", we're supposed to feel sorry for Jimmy because Kevin tells him that fairy tales aren't real. But maybe if Jimmy hadn't been running around the library and shrieking at the top of his lungs when Kevin was minding his own business and trying to study, maybe Kevin wouldn't have messed with him in the first place. What makes it worse is that Kevin had already politely asked Sarah and Jimmy to keep it down, only for Sarah to start loudly reading reading the fairy tale just to irritate Kevin ForTheEvulz.

** Kankers are very prone to this, due to their canon Characterness. Are they just bullies tormenting everyone for kicks, or is it a JerkassFacade, built because of (implied) abuse and poverty they had faced earlier in their lives? Do they care about the Eds, and if yes, to what extent?

*** Some fans say that Edd has a severe case of psoriasis on his scalp. For some reason, it only affects his scalp, and he hates people staring at the swollen pink blotches and grayish scales the disease causes, so he wears a hat to hide them. Ed thinks the blotches and scales look cool, being a monster movie fan, and says so when Edd's hat is pulled off by a hanging ceiling lamp.
** Is Sarah as tough as we're made to believe? One episode implied that the reason why Eddy never retaliates against her is because she's Ed's sister, and on the rare occasions when Ed actually stands up to her (Pop Goes the Ed and Little Ed Blue), she backs down.

lamp. Another theory state that it is to hide an injury (possibly caused by the dodgeball incident in school mentioned in "Ed in a Halfshell". Among the more ridiculous theories include: his brain is exposed because his scalp never developed, the top of his head is larger than it should be because his brain is abnormally large (perfectly explaining his hyper-intelligence and ability to cobble together complex vehicles and structures out of junk), or, the most ridiculous of them all, it's to hide an undeveloped Siamese twin (disproven in the episode "The Day the Eds Stood Still", in which Edd frets about the consequences of an only child).

** Eddy's parents. Are AbusiveParents or just very strict? Judging by asking Eddy if they knew he was visiting him in a rather concerned tone, it hints either one. Is abusive behavior the result of being abused himself? Or did they kick him out because they knew he was abusing Eddy? For that matter, if they are just strict, is it because they deemed a lost cause, so they act much more strict towards Eddy with the hopes he'll turn out better?

Sarah becomes outraged with Ed continuously blowing his lines, and ends up kicking and locking him out of the house (while still in costume); when Kevin and other kids in the cul-de-sac see Ed roaming around, they keep calling him "Scarecrow Boy," which somehow causes Ed to grow stiffer and stiffer everytime he hears the name. Eventually, the episode ends with Plank nestled into the ground, and Ed standing ontop with his arms straight out, as if he has become a real Scarecrow Boy. * UnintentionallySympathetic: Eddy in "Sorry, Sorry, Wrong Ed" Ed is considered this. People feel bad for him for all the curses he suffers from answering the cursed telephone despite the fact that he brought it upon himself for digging it up even after Rolf, former owner of the phone, has already warned him of the curse. However, most of the fans that see Eddy as the sympathetic type in this episode seem to be more upset over the fact that Edd shows no concern over what happens to Eddy, even after all the shit that happened to Eddy was right in front of him.
