* EvenBetterSequel: The sequel has full voice-over, uses quick travel points, less but more fleshed out companions and offers more alternate approaches to quests.

* AwesomeButImpractical: Crossbows in the first game. They deals tons of damage, but they also need '''4''' turns in order to being recharged. If you have the "Trained Crossbowman" feat you need 2 turns, like a longbow.

* {{Narm}}: Narrator in the intro: "Forged in the fiery DEPTHS! A blade of deadly STEEL! Our heroes to SERVE! And our foes to [[TheIncredibleHulk CRUSH!]]" Lethal overdose of LargeHam.
** One of Forgrimm's battle animation is supposed to be a fierce battle cry. The Italian dub turned it into a ridicolous-sounding yawn.

* ThatOneLevel: Some area are quite difficult, including Traldar's castle (which is besieged by orcs and ogres), the stinky cavern where the Linnorm resides and Mount Drakensang.

Added DiffLines:

** Plenty of bosses are rather difficult, but Mother Ratzinsky is outright unbeatable at the time you in theory could fight her.

** Stone Golems: they have tons of health, are immune to wounds, spells or knockback and can deal a lot of damage. The final level spams them like candy at you.
* DisappointingLastLevel: The scenario of the endgame in DraSa 1 has sadly a lot of bugs, consists only of Hack&Slay-gameplay and has AWinnerIsYou-ending. To cup it all, is also extremely difficult.
* GameBreaker: Magical weapons that have a chance of inflicting wounds or knocking down the enemy by themselves, plus certain techniques like Bleeding, Death Strike and Rage Strike, which inflict lots of damage and wounds.
