* MagnificentBastard: Dust, without a doubt. In addition to fitting all Dust. He is very intelligent, despite his humble "street rat" background; he frequently recites history and archaeology as he draws upon the criteria, importance and meaning of art in human culture in order to justify his search for the Temple of Hotep III. Operating on his own, he intercepted messages from the Dino Attack Team and made his way to Adventurers' Island, where he effortlessly outsmarted one of his interrogators before Rockford had to step in. He is a master of XanatosSpeedChess, thinking quickly to manipulate others into getting what he wants (such as when he immediately recognized Naomi's naivety and started playing with it, or when he manipulated the evidence in the XERRD Fortress to convince Dino Attack Team to seek his temple as a top priority), and he goes toe-to-toe with Rockford in an interrogation... a test of wits that is seemingly treated by both participants like a game of chess. In the end, he even succeeded in his goal and claimed the Temple of Hotep III. He is undoubtedly a bastard, a self-serving loner who manipulates the people around him and views them as inconsequential means to an end. However, through CharacterDevelopment, he has also shown himself to be empathetic towards Zachary Virchaus and showed deep respect to Rockford, whom he considered a WorthyOpponent. It's rather telling that, in the climax of his own arc, the characters around him could hate him one moment and then rush to his side the next moment; he had that way with people. In stark contrast to other bastards like Duke or Trigger, Dust is among proved to be one of the RPG's most popular primary characters for his unique and well-written characterization.characterization, with many players appreciating his complex motivations and charismatic personality, which made scenes such as his conversations with Rockford a real treat to read. In the end, many players were saddened when his story finally wrapped up, with his final scene considered a major highlight of At War's End.

** An internal example. In one of [=MetroidDude360's=] posts from 2005, Cobra discusses how the Mutant Dinos' creators had also invented a means of suspended animation. In 2007, when [=PeabodySam=] later revealed that Dr. Rex was the Mutant Dinos' creator, it was also revealed that he kept subjects (including Talia Kaahs, Screech, and Pterisa) in stasis tubes. This was neither foreshadowing nor a CallBack; this was just a pure coincidence.

** Slash customized his Dino Attack vehicle to be yellow, which would be the color scheme for vehicles from Toys/LEGODino. Becomes doubly hilarious considering Kat's comment about it:
-->Kat: If I were you, I wouldn't paint my next vehicle yellow. The dinos are no doubt attracted to bright colors.

* TheWoobie: Zero, as of The Madness of Agent Zero. He can't understand why he's hallucinating or why nobody else remembers what he's talking about. He asks hallucinations of Phantom and Rex for help, but they can't help him. Worst of all, [[spoiler:he realizes that he is a fictional character who has been abandoned by his writer]].

** Talia Kaahs, as of Scars. She's a FishOutOfTemporalWater PlayedForDrama, struggling to fit into a modern world where everyone she knew is either elderly or dead.

*** In one photograph, Dust was depicted as shirtless, and that guy from that show justified it by flatly stating that Dust doesn't need a shirt. Cue a series of ChuckNorrisFacts starring Dust...

* CaptainObviousReveal: This happened multiple times, with a few notable examples including "Rex is a mutant", "Specs was ", and "Septimus's true identity is ", which a number of people called long before the reveal.

** It was funny when Noomi Shaw mentioned [=PeabodySam=] as a deity. But in light of The Madness of Agent Zero, in which [[spoiler:Zero is driven mad by the revelation that [=PeabodySam=], [=Andrewnuva199=], and other authors are writing his story]], it becomes a lot less funny.

** Toys/BIONICLE XMeetsY Meets Exo-Force RPG fits all the criteria for sure. It came out of nowhere, made no sense even within Dino Attack RPGs rather boundless limits of sense, and was never mentioned again (aside from the occasional DiscontinuityNod).

** Donnie kept messing up Medic's real name, Luzwheit, and one of the names he came up with was Ludwig. In 2017, the VideoGame/TeamFortress2 comic The Naked and the Dead finally revealed the [=TF2=] Medic's real name, and it's Ludwig. The same comic also confirmed that , long after their Dino Attack RPG counterparts had done the same.

** Specs is TheMole? Like [=PeabodySam=] Would Really Do It. Oh, would you look at that... .

** Atton Rand's early work in the RPG was about Zenna, Axle, and Elizabeth going on zany, over-the-top, almost cartoonish shenanigans (the current canonicity of which is debatable). These once silly events seem much more bitter now that Atton Rand constantly strives for realism.

** In the FinalBattle, the original main villain finds himself rejected by his own family. The villain is forced to keep fighting a battle he no longer wants to fight, and the heroes engage him in final battle atop a great tower in a major city. Does this sound familiar? Well, guess what? This was written several months before the Franchise/Ninjago series finale!

* BetterThanCanon:
** Some might hold this opinion of Dino Attack RPG in comparison to Toys/LEGODinoAttack.
** While Vikings Isle's history bears semblance to the official LEGO Vikings storyline, it is intended to be far less corny and Narm lame in presentation.

Thanks to the CerebusRetcon in The Madness of Agent Zero, the rant is even harder to read now.
