** Donnie kept messing up Medic's real name, Luzwheit, and one of the names he came up with was Ludwig. In 2017, the VideoGame/TeamFortress2 comic The Naked and the Dead finally revealed the [=TF2=] Medic's real name, and it's Ludwig. The same comic also confirmed that , long after their Dino Attack RPG counterparts had done the same.

** Atton Rand's early work in the RPG was about Zenna, Axle, and Elizabeth going on zany, over-the-top, almost cartoonish shenanigans (the current canonicity of which is debatable). These once silly events seem much more bitter now that Atton Rand constantly strives for realism.

BetterThanCanon: Some might hold this opinion of Dino Attack RPG in comparison to Toys/LEGODinoAttack.
** While Vikings Isle's history bears semblance to
Toys/LEGODinoAttack, since the official RPG took the barebones premise of the toyline and expanded it into a much bigger story, exploring the full potential of a mutant dinosaur apocalypse in a LEGO Vikings storyline, it is intended to be far less corny and Narm lame in presentation.world.

* CargoShipping:
** For Kattwire shippers, while Kat was a T-1 Typhoon...
** Heavy's dream about marrying a sandwich.
* CatharsisFactor: The whole reason French Fries was brought back during At War's End was so that players could get revenge on him for leaking the Antarctica black ops mission (and therefore being responsible for the ensuing chaos). Andrew and Rex certainly took full advantage of the opportunity presented here.

* HoYay:
** Scout suggests that Medic and Heavy were more than "brothers". Interestingly, while this is a running joke among some Videogame/TeamFortress2 players, Dino Attack RPG plays this for neither humor nor fanservice but actually for drama, since it makes Medic's death all the more heartbreaking for Heavy.
** One of Jackson Lake's posts suggests this exists between Larson and Mort.
** Especially in The Madness of Agent Zero, Zero seems awfully... attached to Rex.

* Shipping: Hoo boy. Page 24 of At War's End turned into a shipping harbor.
** CargoShipping:
*** For Kattwire shippers, while Kat was a T-1 Typhoon...
*** Heavy's dream about marrying a sandwich.
** CrackPairing:
*** Chompy and Tex have never met over the course of the RPG. Didn't stop Toa Antrahka from shipping Texompy, though...
*** Given Glados's personality as a "bitter, unlikeable loner", anyone shipped with Glados (for example, Gladonepus) can be considered a Crack Pairing.
*** Arguably, any shipping with Pterisa (for example, Andrisa or Pteraxus) can be Crack Pairing due to her... unique genetics and her unknown age.

*** And then there's Snigger.
*** One of Jackson Lake's posts suggests this exists between Larson and Mort.
** ShipSinking:
*** Jackson Lake more or less sent the Kattwire ship to Davy Jones's locker. Also Atton Rand originally hinted at a Pienna romance, an idea that was abandoned in favor of Piershop when Pierce was revealed to be Kate's biological father.
*** While Atton Rand did toy with some ideas for Snigger (being a closeted homosexual could be an interesting explanation for why Trigger is so cold, especially if he lived in a largely homophobic community), Snigger is not going to happen, what with Snake ditching Trigger and the latter's feelings on being double-crossed (and his death).
*** Although they managed to confess their love in the end, Nazareno's death destroyed the chance of Nazarelda coming to fruition.
*** that guy from that show is expressly opposed to Sharisee shipping, although Atton Rand alluded to it at the end of the RPG, when Shaw attempted to comfort Pharisee- seeing as her spirituality put her in a position where she could better understand him.
** ShipsThatPassInTheNight:
*** As stated above, Tex and Chompy have never met over the course of the RPG. Most of the pairings with Vinyaya that Zachary created would also apply.
*** Despite the fact that the closest thing to an interaction is them both just missing each other (Pharisee approached Pierce after Shaw left with a separate group), Sharisee does make some degree of sense, what with the two characters both being semi-religious individuals seeking comfort in faith. It could theoretically be the basis for a very personal connection.
*** A possible canon example: Larson and Mort met following the final battle. The next post they appeared in drops some subtext that they were romantically attached.

** Although a rather weak one, such a tumor existed during the battles against Kotua and Chaos... the love story of Rex and Amanda Claw. Even though they were nearly killed by a madman Alpha Team agent, a water monster, a futuristic treasure hunter, and a self-destructing robot only a few minutes prior, and Amanda's brother had just suddenly disappeared, there's no time to worry about that - we've got a love story to write! Over time, as Rex and Amanda's relationship developed and [=PeabodySam=] became a better writer, the tumor eventually became benign, but looking back on its beginnings, it was definitely malignant at first.
