* FoeYay: The Collector and Jeryline. It's pretty one-sided, and The Collector isn't exactly subtle about it.

* HeartwarmingMoments: Jeryline and Brayker bond quickly, and it isn't just because they're both Demon Knights.

The Collector is a soulless monster who hides behind a [[FauxAffablyEvil veneer]] and delights in joking as he leads his victims to damnation. When Frank Brayker, a Demon Knight entrusted to guard the final key from the demons, seals himself in a boardinghouse alongside its residents, the Collector summons an army of demons and lays siege. Through his psychic powers, the Collector is able to [[DemonicPossession possess]] the humans in the boardinghouse by [[DealWithTheDevil tempting them with their deepest desires]]. * FridgeLogic: What exactly is stopping Brayker from refilling the Key with his own blood or, for that matter, using it against the Collector, like Jerilyn does in the end?

* IAmNotShazam: You would be excused if you thought that the movie title refers to the villain, since he's a demon, and a high-ranking one, so, in a sense, a knight. However, it's actually the hero's title, although he's only briefly named as such by the villain ("No one's brought back a demon knight before. Alive, anyway.")

* FridgeLogic: What exactly is stopping Brayker from refilling the Key with his own blood or, for that matter, using it against the Collector?
** Who says he doesn't or hasn't tried?

* MagnificentBastard: The Collector is a demon out to gain the magic Key from the Demon Knight, Frank Brayker. A genius 'salesman', he preys upon the desires and fears of the humans within the hotel he besieges, seducing or tricking them into selling him their souls and arranging them strategically to do as much damage as he can. Outwitting the humans at most opportunities, he even relies on the cowardice of the boorish Roach to unlock the gate for him, before allowing his demon minions to kill Roach anyways after a cheerful "''vaya con Diablos''." Charismatic and oddly charming with a roguish sense of humor, the Collector stands out as one of the most memorable villains from ''Series/TalesFromTheCrypt''.
