** With the results of ''Ken VS Terry'' and ''Balrog VS TJ Combo'', [[spoiler: the Street Fighter universe as a whole has managed to gain this reputation, due to said franchise having the highest number of losses in the show (at seven, as of August 2017), being on the longest losing streak of any franchise in the show (six losses and counting as of ''Balrog VS TJ Combo'', twice the length of any other streak, winning '''or''' losing, in the show's history), and only having a total of three victories to its name.[[note]]''Akuma VS Shang Tsung'', ''Zangief VS Mike Haggar'' and ''Pikachu VS Blanka''. Much of the fanbase doesn't even consider the last one to be valid.[[/note]] Not helping this in any way is the fact that all three of the Street Fighter universe's victories were achieved back in Season 1, which has caused a number of fans to ''forget they happened''. Making things worse, almost all of their losses have been against characters from rival fighting game series, with Street Fighter being on a three match losing streak against Mortal Kombat (and, to the embarrassment of Street Fighter fans, being the only series that Mortal Kombat had won against until early Season 4, where Sub-Zero beat Killer Instinct's Glacius), losing both rounds against King of Fighters, and losing their first round against Killer Instinct. [[UpToEleven And for one last kick in the teeth]], [[CurbstompBattle most of their losses haven't been close, either]]-- only ''Chun-Li vs. Mai Shiranui'' and ''Balrog vs. TJ Combo'' have been remotely close calls, and even those two fights had a '''six year gap''' with lots of curbstomping sandwiched between them. ** While ''Balrog vs. TJ Combo'' is a great looking fight for the most part, Balrog has an unfortunate tendency to clip through his robes during a few shots, particularly his back.

** DBX has not been too well-received in comparison to One Minute Melee. A common complaint leveled at the show is that it feels slow and stiff in comparison to OMM, though individual episodes like ''Ryu vs. Lucario'', ''Ronald [=McDonald=] vs Colonel Sanders'', ''Bruce Lee vs The World'', ''Jotaro vs Yu'', ''Donald Trump vs Hillary Clinton'' and ''Predator vs. Prophet'' have been met with praise. It's still in its first season and Ben said that the show is a platform for new animators to learn. Later episodes have more positive reviews from fans.

** After a series of fights with lasers, guns, swords, magic, and city-breaking hits, Balrog vs. TJ Combo gives us a good ol' boxing match that replaces all of that with tight chroeography, intense impact, and close camera angles to make it feel real.
