Just that the question is asked doesn't make it Anvilicious. It's Anvilicious if the story makes a big deal out of it, and Harry's opinion isn't even focused on. It's a little odd of a question, but Anvilicious is if it's hammered into you as The Right Way To Think, which this isn't. Bring it to the Discussion page if you want to continue this.

What makes it anvilicious is that the question was asked at all. It added nothing to the story save to allow Harry/Butcher to expound his opinion on gays. I don't even disagree with it, but it was unnecessary and forced.

What was Anvilicious about that scene? Just that the question is asked and he answers doesn't make it an anvilicious author tract.
