* {{Anvilicious}}: Japanese universities tend to have high entrance standards compared to Western ones, and it's still not uncommon to find students struggling to get in. Knowing this makes the "getting a good score above all" thrust of the overly Elitist Volt hit a bit closer to home...
** SomeAnvilsNeedToBeDropped: Not that the lesson is a bad one.

*GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff: This show, along with ''Series/ChoushinseiFlashman'' and ''Series/KidouKeijiJiban'' was one of the very first SuperSentai series to be aired in some Latin American countries as Peru, where is still fondly remembered.

* FanFavorite: Despite the sea of red warriors in the franchise, Yuusuke/Red Falcon is still a fan favorite, even managing to show up as a major character in ''Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai''. For ''Super Sentai'', a hero showing up unsuited in an anniversary special barring ''Gokaiger'', not being from the previous 5-10 seasons, and not being named [[Series/JAKQDengekitai Soukichi Banba]] is a big deal.
** Toei seems to love this season as a whole. Not only did this show start a few traditions (ThreePlusTwo and already combined robots combining), but Yuusuke also shows up in ''Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai'' as mentioned above and Joh shows up in ''Gokaiger'', which is in itself a big deal since ''Liveman'' is one of only three pre-''Dairanger'' shows to get a tribute episode in ''Gokaiger''.
** Megumi/Blue Dolphin deserves a special mention, since she's the very first female Sentai Blue Ranger ever.

** Also, life, youth, and your humanity are important and can't be spurned or destroyed. [[spoiler: Bias tries and ultimately fails to completely purge the four doctors of their humanity like he has done to himself, ruins others lives for his goals, and is trying to create an artificial Fountain of Youth, meaning he abuses all three of these things.]]
