** Specifically, the moment in question occurs in the fourth episode, when Jenny scoffs at Mimi [=LaFloo=] for openly kissing Bucky, saying that "some people have no sense of propriety". Taken out of context, one could say that Jenny was being [[GreenEyedMonster jealous]] in {{Subtext}}. ''However:'' in context with the [[{{Continuity}} previous episodes]], it becomes clear that [[ExactlyWhatIMeantToSay she actually is]] reacting to Mimi's [[ProperLady lack of propriety]], which is funny because [[HypocriticalHumor she acted exactly the same way towards Willy]] (worse, even!) in ''[[AllWomenAreLustful all three previous episodes in a row]]''.

* ShippingGoggles: Jenny and Bucky are the FanPreferredCouple, so much so that a a very tiny bit of research into the fandom will reveal this fact: it commonly shows up in both the {{Fanfiction}} and FanArt. This is typically [[FanWank rationalized]] by claiming [[ShipTease the romance was teased]] despite he fact that there is literally only one ''individual second'' in the cartoon, specifically, that may be construed to imply that Jenny may harbor romantic feelings for Bucky... [[AvertedTrope and it actually doesn't]]. In fact, it happens to be a ''[[DontExplainTheJoke joke]]'' regarding Jenny's overtly romantic behavior towards ''[[{{Irony}} Willy DuWitt]]''.

* {{Designated Love Interest}}s: It was implied a couple of times that Bucky and Jenny had feelings for each other (Jenny acting jealous when Mimi kissed Bucky and Bucky saying he'd trust Jenny with his life and would go to the ends of the Aniverse for her) but aside from these two instances, the two never showed any real romantic feelings for each other, although that could be explained by several factors: the war, their personalities (or lack thereof) and the brevity of the series.

* {{Anvilicious}}: Every episode was designed to teach an important lesson via the human character Willy [=DuWitt=]. That this required a rather complicated plan on the part of the toads, and typically left them with a rather humiliating defeat, really hammered it home.

* ScrewedByTheNetwork: Larry Hama put it best in [[http://www.buckyohare.org/hama.shtml this interview]]:
--> '''Larry Hama''': (I was) Pretty disappointed that we couldn't get to a second season. All the result of a shipping and distribution error in getting the toy assortments to the stores that first Christmas. The assortments went out with the same number of Bucky figures as let's say the Toad Air Marshal. That's nuts. The Bucky figures disappeared immediately, and all that was left on the racks were Air Marshals, and Toad Troopers. There should have been twice as many Buckys and Willies.
** As a result of the above error, the second toy line [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6aG5dscfXj0 never got shipped despite being complete]].
This list shows the last 10 events of 31. Show all.
