**Many jokes about Ryan being quiet in some commentaries became a lot less funny after he revealed it was because of his Depression.

** Ryan is the one that most often makes factual mistakes about the topic at hand, such as repeatedly stating Pokemon Gold and Silver came out in 2001, when it was actually 2000, and saying Captain Planet isn't in Creator/CartoonNetwork: ''[[VideoGame/CartoonNetworkPunchTimeExplosion Punch Time Explosion]]'', when he is actually the last character you unlock. He also said that Mega Man 9 and 10 were for the Virtual Console, when they were actually for WiiWare. This one could be written off as a slip of the tongue. The team also seemed all convinced that the period between The First Movie and Gold and Silver was extremely brief, when in reality it was almost a full year after the movie came out that the games hit America.

** In Part 4 of New Super Mario Bros Wii, the guys talk about wanting a [[VideoGame/LuigisMansionDarkMoon Luigi's Mansion for the 3DS]] (It should also be noted that they discused potential names for what would become the WiiU earlier in the Playthrough).

** Ted was, at one point, well on his way to becoming the most divisive member of the crew. Examples include his voice being grating to some (it's probably his accent), coming off as egotistical (both in his [[FanHater intolerance for people liking games against his bias]] and his HolierThanThou attitude toward anyone with [[CantTakeCriticism the slightest issue toward him]]), his tendency to [[AccentuateTheNegative overstate]] his issues with games that he has distaste for, and to some, coming off as preachy and stubborn. It's worth noting, however, due to this backlash, he's stated he's trying to become better about this sort of thing. Despite efforts, he still comes off as stubborn on social channels and remains the most divisive member.

*** Lewis in the multiplayer tends to get a bit of criticism in Co-op LP's, as earlier ones with shared lives meant his lesser play led to more game overs. Not to say he isn't trying, but there are a few instances such as in Return to Dreamland, where he keeps trying to use the boot after losing almost 5 lives, and suiciding to switch off Kirby rather than just use the normal character switch mechanic. Subverted in Little Big Planet, where very often Lewis is the only player left and clears challenges fairly well on his own, and averted with Rayman Legends, where Lewis's gameplay stops impacting the others thanks to the absence of lives.

** Hell, pretty much every commentator is a base breaker to varying degrees - Johnny is probably the only commentator without a significant hatebase. The only thing that comes close is a minority of people sometimes getting annoyed with his "philosophical reasoning" about some things, like his reasoning for keeping most of his Wii U games digital. If that's not petty, I don't know what is.

*** That didn't stop the fans from running it into the ground, though.

him. That didn't stop the fans from running it into the ground, though.

*** Split 3: Some feel as if the commentary being almost solely Ted is poor due to having nobody else to play off of, with Ryan having nearly no interest in it at all and both John and Lewis having no experience in the Pikmin series at all. They think a guest who enjoyed the game would have been good so that there could be a balance between both opinions, while others don't care or think that the cast didn't need a guest at all, or the most reliable candidate (WebVideo/Chuggaaconroy) wouldn't be available enough. Lewis has actually made a statement about this: they didn't do so because according to him, it would be dishonest, condescending, and balancing tone ultimately doesn't matter.[[note]]Source: a comment on Part 6.[[/note]]

** The ''VideoGame/Pikmin2'' commentary is already easily one of the most divisive commentaries the channel has done, outdoing even much of the ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' games' commentaries in merely below 10 parts. Nearly everything is divisive due to it being unexpectedly negative and very angering to Ted, who played the game for the channel despite disliking the game.
*** Split 1: The most divisive split, by far, is on Ted's negativity throughout the playthrough. Some feel as if Ted is being petty and whiny about the game for basically any diversion from ''Pikmin 1'' or ''3'', while others don't think he's very unjustified in how ranty he is. It gets worse when he brings this up.
*** Split 2: Ted makes a fair few mistakes during various portions of the game, most notably skipping the sprays by accident[[note]]He thought that he could get them from eggs to not stall the playthrough by berry farming, but eggs won't drop anything but nectar until the sprays have been unlocked, and he didn't realize this until way later[[/note]], and even he [[OldShame regrets not getting the ultra-bitter spray since it would have made certain fights much easier]]. This causes a few to believe that Ted's anger at the game is dubious or the result of being bad, and that is all that will be said, while others don't think he would do that or don't see anything particularly wrong with how he plays.
*** Split 3: Some feel as if the commentary being almost solely Ted is poor due to having nobody else to play off of, with Ryan having nearly no interest in it at all and both John and Lewis having no experience in the Pikmin series at all. ** Ryan is rather heavily prone to this. A particular example emerged in the Spiderman commentary, with Ryan yelling, no less than 4 times, "CLOOOONE SAGA" in relation to a despised arc of the Spiderman continuity that Ted promptly and correctly defended by replying it happened more than 30 years ago. This example was so annoying that people, even fans of Ryan, expressed RELIEF when the next commentary of Iron-Man glitched Ryan's audio and left him inaudible for all but 2 minutes of the commentary.

Ryan also had an annoying habit of going "Failure!" (or some variation of it) in the early days whenever Johnny lost a life in a game, but he eventually stopped doing it.

** [[SomeCallMeJohnny John]] by default, considering he's the only main commentator not listed below in the {{Scrappy}} listing. Much of his relative popularity is likely because he is the most well-known of the main four, with the most active personal channel (only Ted's even begins to approach his activity), and even when he doesn't like a game, he won't [[HePannedItNowHeSucks complain]] nearly as much as the other crew members unless the game ''[[ObviousBeta really]]'' deserves [[ScrappyMechanic it]]. There is often disappointment in the comments for videos that he is unable to attend.
