This certainly doesn't have to mean anything, but considering how often it has been brought up amongst the MoralGuardians it deserves a place on here. Especially ridiculous since Bamse has always been a bastion of political correctness, and since Vargen, with his FreudianExcuse and eventual HeelFaceTurn ended up as one of the most complex and sympathetic characters in the comic.
** There's also the fact that its Vargens FUR thats black, which has nothing to do with race.

He does follow a moral code when dealing with villains and has a strict sense of justice, and has even worked as a police or helped the police at several occasions, but he also has an outspoken distaste for prison sentences and sometimes breaks the law if he thinks it to be wrong.
