* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: Yujiro, after his NobleDemon-esque CharacterDevelopment. Needless to say, his sheer {{Jerkass}}ery and {{Invincible Villain}}y still make him such a HateSink in the eyes of many fans.

* ThisIsYourPremiseOnDrugs: The fighting manga genre on acid. At first the series is fairly realistic, albeit pushing your suspension of disbelief. After the Maximum Tournament though, ''all bets are off''. By the time you reach Son Of Ogre you'll be wondering what [[WhatDoYouMeanItWasntMadeOnDrugs the hell the author was on]]. Considering the author is a former amateur boxer and practices kempo, you wonder if he has brain damage.

* GameBreaker: Yujiro. He is the WorldsStrongestMan, and it goes far beyond badass and CantCatchUp and straight into VillainSue territory. The defining example of how broken Yujiro is? His article on the other wiki lists what styles he's beaten and destroyed. The list goes on for a while, up to and including ''single-handedly defeating the armed forces of the United States'' (during ''[[UsefulNotes/TheVietnamWar the freaking Vietnam War]]''--imagine [[ComicBook/{{Watchmen}} Doctor Manhattan]], only that he did his work by ''hunting down and killing entire platoons with his bare hands''), and ends with '''The Forces of Nature Itself''', with a link to the '''Acts of God article'''.
---> '''Baki:''' "Not even cancer or AIDS could do a thing against him."
** He's so strong an example that [[spoiler:the only reason this story has a happy ending at all is because ''he literally allowed it to happen'' (read above on EsotericHappyEnding).]]

** Yujiro is an interesting case as he sees himself as BeyondGoodAndEvil. In fact if you look at many of the things he does in contrast to how he generally handles himself in public his actions can be seen to go further straight into BlueAndOrangeMorality territory. While he can be sadistic and mocks others for their weakness, he never seems to relish the pain he inflicts on others in and of itself. Rather, Yujiro love the ACT of inflicting pain and brutalizing others rather than the agony that follows. Further, he never goes out of his way to just destroy and kill. There are even times when Yujiro is shown to be capable of being honorable, noble, and even outright compassionate (though never accuse him of this as he [[BerserkButton can and may]] [[JerkassFacade destroy you for it]]). He is even capable of respecting others and making friends (albeit a small circle of friends). Hell, he can even be downright hospitable in not friendly with the people he has hurt (as seen when he went out for drinks with Doppo Orochi).
