* AwesomeMusic: Deon Van Heerden has put together a badass soundtrack that would not be out of place in an epic action flick, with such gems as "This Ends Now", "End of the Line", "Liberty or Death", "An Unbreakable Force", "Alpha Xenomorph" and especially "No Sympathy for the Devil".

* GameBreakingBug: In the [=PS4=] version, there's a glitch which makes your Bro stop doing anything sometime after you spawn for 2 seconds. In some levels, no big deal once you compensate. In levels like [[spoiler:escaping the Deathfield... good luck.]] Thankfully, this has been fixed.

** Mook Generals. Much like Scout Mooks, they have no weapons, but if they're alerted to your presence, they'll call for reinforcements non-stop until they're killed.

* MostWonderfulSound: Dirty Brorry's .44 Magnum makes a very satisfying sound when fired. Which makes sense, as it's the exact sound used in the films for Harry's Magnum.
* Narm: Many players will crack up when those Binocular mooks run around spouting "DERKA!" Their actually saying "Broforce" but their voices make it hard to tell, especially in early versions with the Homer Simpson voices.

* TearJerker: Subjective, of course, but the ending where the President is killed is surprisingly effective. The crowd reacts in shock, the bros go to jail, and the music even takes a dark turn. Plus, the visuals imply Rambro only did this due to PTSD; understandable given the events of the game.

* SpiritualLicensee: It's a better Expendables game than the actual Expendables game.

** NoProblemWithLicensedGames: The tie in game Expendabros shows what a nigh-perfect mix this is; the only way it can get better is if it had one-liners.

** Low Tier: Cheery Broling and Dirty Brory
*** When she was first introduced she was terrible! She was awkward to move around and could only shoot downwards, which, while gives her a ton of height, also had it's own difficulty in controlling her trajectory. Even with her ability to shoot forward later added as well as shooting fast, Cherry is limited by her slow speed (she has to hobble around) and her whole shtick of raining DeathFromAbove ultimately limited her in the levels where you need to go really fast or are stuck in tight caves.
*** Dirty Brory is a different beast than any other Bro. Unlike every other bro, Dirty Brory is the only bro that needs to reload and he has to reload often as he only has six shots. While each shot goes far and hits hard and pierces foes, it does nothing when you have a lot of weak enemies coming from everywhere (especially from above) or someone who can take all six shots (mainly late game enemies and bosses, and latter tend to be FlunkyBosses). His molotovs also have short range on their toss and fire balls. As such he's powerful but not nearly as powerful as his drawbacks make him out to be. Other bros never have to reload and while their weapons have shorter range they can tear apart anyone in from of them while having enough maneuverability to deal with problems.

** If a character dies via spikes and is resurrected using Broniversal Soldier's special, they will gain infinite jumps, leading to entire levels being skippable by flying over them.

Added DiffLines:

* SelfImposedChallenge: The game is already NintendoHard as is, but if you want to make it even more challenging, you can try and complete the campaign or custom maps WITHOUT rescuing [=POWs=]. This way, you'll only have one life and will have to adapt to whichever character the game gives you.
** If you want to push this UpToEleven, you can try this in Ironbro mode. No, you won't complete the game with only one life/character unless you are some kind of Broforce God, but it's fun to try and see how far you can get.

** Hellhounds. Found obviously in Hell, they are almost the exact same thing as the standard attack dog... But a if a single hellhound manages to eat a corpse, it can spawn a whole pack of their kind. If you don't dispose of them fast, prepare to be ZergRush'd.
