* LesYay: Mandy and Chloe, especially the scene in the bathroom. Mandy ''sucks on Chloe's finger'', for chrissakes. [[spoiler: Doubles as FoeYay, since Mandy wants her dead]].

* ShockingSwerve: Trying to make sense of ANY of the twists in the movie will make your head to explode. The most jarring would have to be [[spoiler:Mandy being the BigBad with Emmet as her DragonInChief]], which seems to happen with no internal reasoning whatsoever.

* HilariousInHindsight: The entire setup for the film involves the beautiful Mandy Lane being unattainable for the guys in her school, and there are [[AmbiguouslyGay strong indications]] that [[LipstickLesbian she may bat for the other team]]. It's not like Creator/AmberHeard, the actress who played her, would suddenly come out as bisexual and make herself attainable to the entire female half of the population.

** Did Mandy ever plan on going along with [[spoiler:Emmet's plan]]? Does she change her mind because [[spoiler:she figures out that Emmet is [[NotSoDifferent no different]] from the other boys at school]] or did she always know that and simply use it to her own ends?

While Depp would in November of 2020 lose a libel case against ''The Sun'' calling him an "wife beater", meaning the court found there was enough evidence to conclude that he was abusive and not enough to conclude that she was, but some still believe Heard was the abuser and the two of them have multiple court cases against each other that have yet to proceed.]]
