* SaltAndPepper: Averted with his team with Ernest Miller, since Miller didn't really show any personality until the team split up and he turned heel.

* ArchEnemy: Mortis.Mortis, who apparently had some [[NoodleIncident past history]] with Glacier and hated the guy. Glacier's long-running rivalry with Mortis was the center of the "Blood Runs Cold" angle, with Wrath and Ernest Miller tagging along. Mortis stealing Glacier's sacred helmet didn't help matters too.

As usual, the basics about his career can be found at [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ray_Lloyd The Other Wiki]] and you can read about his acting career at [[http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0516108/?ref_=fn_nm_nm_1 IMDB]].

oh right, that's trivia now

* BreakupBreakout: Inverted - Glacier actually had the ''least'' success of the Blood Runs Cold crew, despite being the main character in it. Kanyon and Ernest Miller both became tenured and memorable upper midcard heels, plus Kanyon had some success in WWF during The Invasion. Wrath went on an undefeated streak of his own, and then formed [=KroniK=] with Brian Adams and won some tag titles. Glacier didn't do squat after Blood Runs Cold.

* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: The [=WCW/nWo=] angle would stop while a bunch of Mortal Kombat gimmicks who rarely interacted with the rest of the roster came out and feuded over a helmet. WCW actually took potshots against the angle afterwards, including bringing Glacier back in 2001 as a FakeUltimateHero, making it InUniverse.

* TheWorfEffect: He did the job to Goldberg in one minute on the December 29, 1997 episode of Nitro. He'd already lost a couple other singles matches at that point, but this is the one that hammered home that Blood Runs Cold was over and there was a new undefeated phenom.

* TheArtifact: Glacier was basically [=WCW=]'s last "cartoony" wrestler who happened to have the misfortune of debuting alongside the Wrestling/NewWorldOrder, which steered the company to a much more grounded style of writing and booking. Had he premiered a year earlier then he would have fit right in alongside the likes of Wrestling/DungeonOfDoom and the other over the top characters that littered [=WCW=]'s roster.

Black Best Friend was renamed Token Black Friend in TRS; removing low-context examples and those that don't appear to be about a Satellite Character to add diversity

* BlackBestFriend: [[Wrestling/ErnestMiller Ernest "The Cat" Miller]]. {{Justified|Trope}}, as Miller was also a martial artist and, in fact, Glacier's ONLY friend in WCW.

Raymond M. Lloyd (born May 13, 1964) is an American martial artist, actor and [[ProfessionalWrestling professional wrestler]] from Brunswick, GA best known for his time in [=WCW=] as '''Glacier''' from 1996-1998. His [[TheGimmick gimmick]] was based on the character Sub-Zero from the ''Franchise/MortalKombat'' series of video games as part of an angle called Blood Runs Cold, also involving [[Wrestling/{{Kanyon}} Mortis]], [[Wrestling/BryanClarke Wrath]], manager [[Wrestling/JamesMitchell James Vandenberg]], and Glacier's only ally [[Wrestling/ErnestMiller Ernest "The Cat" Miller]]. The angle is considered to be a flop, and has even been labeled a [[BLAM/ProfessionalWrestling Big-Lipped Alligator Moment]], as it did not really fit in with everything else that was going on in WCW at the time. He started his in-ring career as "Ray Lloyd" in the late 1980s and was a TV {{Jobber}} for [=WCW=] against such opponents as [[Wrestling/KeijiMutoh The Great Muta]] and the Skyscrapers ([[Wrestling/SidEudy Sid Vicious]] and Wrestling/DanSpivey). He also competed in the Japanese [=shoot-style=] promotion [=UWFi=]. He has also competed for Wrestling/{{CHIKARA}}, Wrestling/ProWrestlingZero1, Wrestling/DustyRhodes' Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling and for several other independents, particularly in the Florida and Georgia areas, and appeared at Wrestling/AllEliteWrestling's ''Double or Nothing'' show. He is a 1x Wrestling/{{N|ational Wrestling Alliance}}WA [[http://www.wrestling-titles.com/nwa/world/nwa-h.html World Tag Team Champion]] with Jason [=Sugarman=].
