* TheBadGuyWins: Though there wasn't one main big bad per se, Season 18 ended with [[spoiler:Dasher Hatfield failing in his quest for the Grand Championship against Juan Francisco de Coronado, making it the first season finale since Season 12 to not end with a tecnico trumphant.]]

* BreakupBreakout: Max Smashmaster outlived his fellow members of the Devastation Corporation, [[spoiler:although it looks like Blaster [=McMassive=] and Flex Rumblecrunch are on to bigger things in EVOLVE, so they're likely to be the real Breakouts.]] If you expand that to the entirety of Bakabella's Wrecking Crew, count Oleg the Usurper among the Breakouts and Jaka among the Jannettys.

* PermanentlyMissableContent: And we missed it. The [=MysteriumP=] riddle that was going around at the same time as the closure angle was going to affect the storyline had anyone been able to solve it - sadly, nobody even came close, and so everything related to [=MysteriumP=] was simply dropped.

Added DiffLines:

* VillainTeamUp: The Flood was a superstable of several rudo factions, under the lead of Deucalion and Jimmy Jacobs.

*CrapSaccharineWorld: Chikara would have to be this for the wrestlers who work there - the promotion is colorful and family friendly, and you have a pretty good chance of getting possessed by a demon or murdered by a super-soldier.

* EvilPowerVacuum: The storyline going into 2012. With Ares, Claudio and Sinn Bodhi gone and the BDK disbanded, the top rudo spot was up for grabs and Tim Donst, Obariyon, Brodie Lee, Ophidian, and Vin Gerard were all in the running for it. However, Donst and Obariyon ended up back in the midcard, Brodie was signed to a WWE developmental deal, Vin was re-released after losing a match against Eddie Kingston, and 17 wasn't quite formidable enough to claim the job. By 2013, Wink Vavasseur had become a NonActionBigBad.

** Currently for Season 18, the EvilPowerVacuum continues, as no one has claimed the position.

** Saturyne and Gran Akuma failed to return to CHIKARA with no within-kayfabe reason after it returned in May 2014. The real reason was that the former ditched and bashed her gimmick and the latter bashed the Ashes Of... angle and wasn't invited back.

Sometime after Chikara's 'closure', a series of Chikara-related videos, titled [[http://theashesof.com/ Ashes]], started being put up. Among other things, these mainly chronicle the Colony's search for Soldier Ant, 3.0's search for Archibald Peck, and Icarus' search for allies to help revive Chikara. These, in extended form and along with footage that wasn't included in the web series, were compiled into a [[http://shop.wrestlingis.com/product/the-ashes-of-chikara-download full-length feature film]], which, according to Mike Quackenbush and along with everything that happened from the closure to National Pro Wrestling Day 2014, is considered to be season 13. In October 2013 Chikara signed an agreement with Creator/NeonAlley, the anime streaming service, to release a weekly wrestling program on their Saturday lineup. This deal expired at the end of March 2014.
