* EldritchLocation: The Fineum Cuniculum certainly qualifies. No one knows how it got there? Check. Mysterious engraving all down the walls of a three kilometer tunnel? Check. People randomly disappearing? Check.

*KnightErrant: Travelling about and righting wrongs? Sounds like a classic scenario for a [[MagicKnight Rohomajeshi Justicar]].
*MagicKnight: Both the Sword-Dancers and Justicars of the [[WillingChanneler Rohomajeshi]] fit this description to some extent.
*MundaneUtility: The Treaded Path of the Rohomajeshi find a lot of mundane uses for channeling spirits.
*SoulPower: The Rohomajeshi have this ability, coupled with {{WillingChanneler}}s.
*WillingChanneler: The Rohomajeshi act as these in exchange for powers from spirits.

[[http://www.worldbuildproject.com The Worldbuild Project]] is a wiki that, much like TVTropes, anybody can edit to put up an idea they think is good; the eventual goal being to create a [[LordOfTheRings Tolkien-esque]] fantasy world.

Users create an account, which lets them add new articles, edit and move articles, and vote on whether or not to canonize an article. When an article is liked by a great enough ratio of voters, it becomes {{Canon}}; after this, new articles have to tip-toe around the already established ones, lest they be downvoted to oblivion for conflicting with prior {{Canon}}.

!!TheWorldbuildProject Non-Canon contains examples of:
(These are tropes for articles that have not yet been canonized, but still may be accepted.)

*AllMonksKnowKungFu: Averted with the Scolaris Monks. They fit much closer to the 'preserve knowledge' aspect of actual European monks.
*BarbarianTribe: The Selahren are an island's-worth of warrior-savages. Despite that, they don't go on pillaging and burning rampages, so they might not be quite as extreme an example as most.
*CivilWar: One of these ended a dynasty in the Acasi Empire, which in turn ended [[WarIsHell a twenty-year war between the empire and the neighboring city-states of Rhael]].
*TheConqueror: The deceased emperor Verek kel Aldeos desperately wanted to be one of these. After spending nearly his entire reign at war, he still wasn't very close, though.
*EldritchLocation: The Fineum Cuniculum certainly qualifies. No one knows how it got there? Check. Mysterious engraving all down the walls of a three kilometer tunnel? Check. People randomly disappearing? Check.
