*** The latter isn't completely true. While there are some parents who are truly worry if their children starts to lose hope and having nightmares, there are also far more who are ignore It or just think It's normal. Don't forget most of them are stopped believing in Pitch, since the Middle Ages, so if something bad happens with the kids, that's obviously the consequence of "eating too much candy" or "growing up". One way or another anything but the Boogieman! (Even Jamie's mother doesn't seemed to believe that It's Jack who is her son is talking to) Even worse is if they're happy and delighted with the events and only start to worry about them when It's too late.

* DoesNotLikeShoes: Because Jack had his shoes off [[spoiler: when he saved his sister, leading to his own death]], as an Immortal [[spoiler: and then Guardian]] he does not wear shoes, even though his powers relate to freezing things. But since Jack [[spoiler: appeared to be from a very poor family]], he probably never wore shoes in the first place, and due to his powers, he doesn't seem to feel the cold anyway.
