* RetiredBadass: The teachers are implied to be this, particularly the principal, Mr. Sampson.
* TheRival: Collectively, Rex Ruthless and Dirty Trixie are this for Captain California and Glorious Gal. They're not evil, exactly, but, as their names suggest, they don't play fair, and they are often the antagonists when the kids aren't fighting actual supervillains.
* StockSuperpowers: As many as they could fit in.
** Captain California: {{Flight}} (via a surfboard called Wipeout), and [[LightEmUp the ability to blind people with his "super-shine" smile.]]
** Glorious Gal: ComboPlatterPowers, including SuperStrength and {{Flight}}, but she mostly relied on her PsychicPowers, including PsychicRadar.
** Weatherman: WeatherManipulation, but [[PowerIncontinence he wasn't very good at controlling it.]]
** Punk Rock: [[ThePowerOfRock Really]] [[BrownNote loud]] [[MusicalAssassin music.]]
** Misty Magic: FunctionalMagic, based on StageMagic.
** Rex Ruthless and Dirty Trixie: Gadget-reliant [[NonPoweredCostumedHero Non-powered heroes]]. Rex Ruthless has a UtilityBelt, Dirty Trixie a literal Bag Of Tricks.

** A.W.O.L.: [[{{Pun}} Rarely-seen]] character with the power of {{Invisibility}}.
** Mr. Sampson: A retired FlyingBrick.
** Miss Grimm: FunctionalMagic and [[DeadpanSnarker a really sharp tongue]].

* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Dirty Trixie and Glorious Gal.

to:

* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Dirty Trixie Misty Magic and Glorious Gal.Gal. (Didn't prevent Misty from being a DamselInDistress more frequently than Glorious Gal, though)
