* OutOfOrder: In America, almost every episode is completely out of order. For instance: "Smash Up Terby" is the pilot, yet it's aired in episode 15 in the US and "Creepaway Camp", episode 3, is aired at the 13th episode.
** In Canada, the shows are aired in a different order from those in America. "Smash Up Terby" is still not the first, though.

* AbductionIsLove: Kate and Allie kidnapped Corey and chained him up in their closet in "Group Hug". There, they pampered him by doing this such as feeding him blueberry waffles, brushing his hair, giving him aroma therapy, and "letting all his friends join him."

As of now, the first half of season 1 has aired on both Creator/CartoonNetwork the United States and Creator/{{Teletoon}} in Canada. Word on when the last half of said season will start airing in the US is currently unknown, however Canada could have the second half to start airing sometime in 2015...hopefully. The second half of Season One was later released exclusively on Cartoon Network's app, "Watch Cartoon Network".

'''''Grojband''''' is a series from the creators of the ''WesternAnimation/TotalDrama'' franchise and ''WesternAnimation/{{Sidekick}}''. 13 year old Corey (Core) Riffin starts a garage band with his three best friends and quickly realizes that their band sucks - like a lot. It's not their music or ever-changing image that's the problem, it's Corey's lack of lyrics. He just can't think of anything cool to write about, UNTIL... Corey finds his older sister Trina's diary. "Hey! This thing is FULL of teen angst and junk."

* {{Hypocrite}}: "Girl Fest" proves Laney has a disliking to "Boy-Crazy Girly Girls" when she herself is shown to have a girly side and she is pretty crazy about Corey ALSO She gets mad at Candy Jams for not having the creative mind to write her own songs....Awkward.
** Then again, Corey uses Trina's diary as an inspiration for writing lyrics, whereas Candy relies on someone else to write lyrics for her songs.
