* NoCelebritiesWereHarmed: NoCelebritiesWereHarmed:
** Foggy himself was a caricature of Senator Claghorn, a popular radio comedian at the time of TheGoldenAgeOfAnimation, although that's pretty much been forgotten to modern viewers.

** In some shorts a drawn-out "yes" is all Miss Prissy says.

** In some shorts a drawn-out "yes" is all Miss Prissy says. It becomes much more drawn out if/when she's trying to seduce Foghorn.

** Foghorn's voice was more nasally and less baritone in the first couple of cartoons. According to Mckimson, Blanc did not voice Foghorn in the first short, though shortly took over and mastered the interpretation the director desired.
** Barnyard Dawg also spent a few shorts before he gained his gravelly snark. In "Daffy Duck Hunt" in fact, Blanc portrays him with the exact same prototype voice he gave Foghorn.

* IResembleThatRemark: Even more so than HypocriticalHumor. In fact, he may not be the TropeNamer (GrouchoMarx takes credit for that one) but he's clearly the TropeCodifier.

* StrictlyFormula: Averted for the most part. While his bouts with Henery Hawk often utilized a recurring formula, Foghorn's shorts were rather diverse compared to a lot of other characters in the ''Looney Tunes'' series, never quite sticking to one running scenario for more than two or three instances.
