Between October 2021 and December 2021, the Library went on a abrupt hiatus, with no new riffs posted for more than two months. BatJamags and Admiral Sakai attempted to continue posting on a limited basic until March 2022. After over six months of absolute silence, it was unfortunately made clear by riffer SC that the Library was no longer an active project. While SC made it clear that there was a possibility that the site could make a comeback, he was clear that the Library was most likely closed as of September 30th 2022.

The Library has riffed such infamous fanfics as ''FanFic/ItsMyLife'', ''FanFic/ForbidenFruitTheTempationOfEdwardCullen'' and ''FanFic/MyImmortal'', and has recently blown past two thousand five hundred posts.

Each full-time Librarian releases a riff on their assigned day of the week, Monday through Saturday, though the schedule remains flexible to account for those pesky real life matters. Sundays are reserved for guest-snarkers, posted on a first-come, first-served basis. In lieu of a guest riff, the Librarians will post fan art or a special spotlight for good fanfiction on Sundays.

Unfortunately, as of 2021, the Library seems to have shut down for an indefinite period of time. Almost all of the riffing cast have left, including key members responsible for behind-the-scenes management (Taco, for example, was in charge of the guest-riff submission email address, and did not pass on the login details to another Librarian before he left, at least according to Ghostcat). Of the remaining full-time riffers; SC and Lyle have not posted for months (with SC having last been seen sometime in 2019, and Lyle having popped up earlier in 2021 before vanishing again), and the only frequent posters since Taco’s departure have been Ghostcat, Batjamags, and Admiral Sakai.

The final nail in the site’s coffin is that there has been no activity on or off the site for nearly three months (as of December, 2021) with the last riff having been posted in October 2021. While this could change at any point, the Library is seemingly on an indefinite hiatus.
