** Peter's parents, who never told Peter sex with a non-were will make them a were. It's even more incredibly stupid when you take into account how open were society is about sex.

Added DiffLines:

* LovableSexManiac: Jean. While she's the most responsible of the three central characters, she's also the most casually sexual. She notably doesn't mean any harm by it and doesn't force herself onto others either; she just happens to be very free with her affections (or in certain cases, her need for some short term distractions).

* ScheduleSlip: Although new pages are supposed to come out once a week, it's not surprising for them to miss a week. Or two. (Readers of the strip have accepted that both Kris and BAR-1 have a lot on their plate and, since the strip generates little to no revenue, bitching for updates is not going to solve anything.)

** On page 120, when she was transforming, she exclaims "Stupid boobies!"boobies!"[[note]]Not all transformations are fluid - in that instance; her boobs were the first thing to change and it took a moment for the rest of her body to catch up.[[/note]]

* InsistentTerminology: Cherri Li's family is (presumably) from China, so she gets ''very'' offended when some clueless {{Otaku}} (like, say, Sarah) keeps referring to her as a Tanuki (which technically only refers to the subspecies of raccoon-dog found in Japan). In Mandarin, they would be called ''hé'' or ''haozi'', and in Cantonese, ''hok''.

Sarah compounds the mistake by continuing to spout GratuitousJapanese at her, much to Cherry's dismay.

* OurWerebeastsAreDifferent: Features all kinds of werebeasts, although the predominant one remains werewolves. Whatever their animal type, their bite is not always infectious: it is a trait inherited genetically by the enzymes in the werewolf. So, claws, bites, and bodily fluids are all potential ways for thralls to emerge. Peter was never told about the later.

Added DiffLines:

** {{Youkai}}: {{Kitsune}} and {{Tanuki}}, and their mainland equivalents (don't call Cherry Li that, she's a Korean raccoon-dog) are simply werebeasts that operate by the same rules as European weres.

* ArbitrarySkepticism: In the omake about a werewolf serving King Arthur, Sarah asks why Peter didn't talk about any dragons. Peter replied that everyone knows dragons don't exist. This coming from a man who knows wererats, werevixens, weretigers, werelions, werebears, werekitsunes, and weretakunis, and ''possibly'' vampires exist.
