[[http://ontheedgecomics.com On The Edge]] is a webcomic by Leisl Adams, about Alice, a human living in Wonderland (which has no other humans), working as a police officer, and her roommate, a fallen demon named Mr. Negative, who used to cause depression but now works as a therapist.

* AllThereInTheManual: Mr.
* AlternateUniverse: Wonderland and 21st century Earth both exist in separate realities.
* HeinzHybrid: Implied by the presence of [[HumanoidNonhumanHybrid Humanoid Nonhuman Hybrids]] [[http://ontheedgecomics.com/comic/291-special/ here]], though the proportion of the different races in the ancestry of many mixed-race characters are unknown.
* NonhumanHumanoidHybrid; Demons, Elves and Cats can have children with each other (as discussed [[http://ontheedgecomics.com/comic/291-special/ here]].
** Notable in-comic examples are Erin/Cupid, the Demon of Love, Bert’s wife, Naria Fortune, etc.
* ImmortalProcreationClause: Demons can live a long time (how long isn’t stated, but Mr. Ego [[http://ontheedgecomics.com/comic/381-wonderland-whos-who/ described it as]] “ridiculously long”), and thus working demons usually only have children when needed for population growth (which isn’t often).
* InSpiteOfANail: Despite having Demons, Elves, and Cats, Wonderland has a lot of similarities to 21st century Earth, including modern technology like cars, guns, TV, computers, etc.
* OurDemonsAreDifferent
* SpinOff: Has a prequel story called [[http://ontheedgecomics.com/wonderland/ Wonderland]].
* WhatIsThisThingYouCallLove: Demons actively working for the Demon Council cannot feel love (at least the romantic kind), this part of the reason Bert left, he wanted to experience it.
** In fact, if a demon experiences love for the first time after leaving the council, it can actually cause ‘’physical pain’’ (see [[http://ontheedgecomics.com/comic/383-the-change-part-2/ here]]).
