* PoorCommunicationKills: In the case of Quarrydog, it almost did literally. When he got stuck in a hole, Boss Alpha Blutenstein gave up searching for him too easily out of fear he would reveal the secret of Alfon being alive and exiled. So Jarrad, Pippie, and Macaulay ended up being the ones rescuing him. It turns out that Quarrydog was alright with remaining a SecretKeeper about Alfon, which ended up shaming Manfred personally.

* CPRCleanPrettyReliable: {{Averted}}. In one arc in 2009, one of his patients, bear Wilbur Fuzz, has a heart attack in his office.
** "Reliable" part
office, but the CPR is {{averted}}: portrayed realistically. Ben and Mary do CPR on him for eight minutes until paramedics arrive to defibrillate him.him. Even then, he suffered three more arrests at hospital before he was fully stabilized and treated. He spent a couple weeks in hospital, and also suffered rib injuries due to all that CPR.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome:
** More on Wilbur Fuzz's cardiac arrest: in addition to averting the "reliable" part of CPRCleanPrettyReliable, it's noted [[https://crosstimecafe.com/Webcomics/DocRat.html?id=731 when Ben visited Wilbur in hospital during his recovery]] that he coded[[note]]went into cardiac arrest[[/note]] three more times before he was fully stabilized.
