** Subverted/averted by pretty much everything in fact (with the exception of the humans but, you know, [[HumansAreBastards they're humans]]). Everything else is either dangerous but still behaving like a proper animal (the Quaternary fauna from the original, and several of the Paleozoic creatures), completely harmless and tame (the aforementioned ''Meganeura''' and ''Daspletosaurus''), or sentient (the Maniraptoriforms and ''Dilophosaurus'').
