While Tiana already has five other friends who are African Americans like her, we don't know if they know each other since childhood, plus, if their interactions are anything to go by, they aren't very close with each other. Thus, the series will feature Tiana's second BFF who will be based on the Mecca Gerima from ''Film/ReallyLove'' (possibly even having the [[Creator/JadeEshete same actress]]), and who's supportive of her and her dreams, just like how her character in the movie was supportive of the main female protagonist. As why she wasn't present during the events of the movie, it could be explained that she lived in the other town (she could have move out from NOLA at young age) or had some important business beyound New Orleans, and had to temporarily leave the town before the events of the movie.

** As a potential WhamEpisode, Louis meets a family member(s) who has been searching for him and drops a bomb-shell WhamLine to the effect of "Have you forgotten?".

And given how ''WesternAnimation/MoonGirlAndDevilDinosaur'' had [[Recap/MoonGirlAndDevilDinosaur2023S1E5HairTodayGoneTomorrow one episode]] dealing with natural hair, there is a possibility that this series will have one too. The episode will be about Tiana getting her hair straightened (either for getting TwentiesBobHaircut that she wored in "Almost There" and in Facilier temptation or for hair care reasons) using natural methods (referencing the fact that Black women maintain their hair by sporadically straightening it) with episode showing it as a good think, and providing AnAesop "both curly hair and straight hair are beautiful".

[[spoiler: By that point, Facilier's plot was dangling by a thread. He needed that talisman back at whatever the cost. If Tiana had given it to him, he would have given her the restaurant with no strings attached because he would be in too much of a hurry to think of a way to screw it up. One of the reasons that Tiana's father (and likely Tiana herself) loved cooking so much is because it brought people together. While Tiana's restaurant would have started off great at first, she'd soon notice that she was getting less and less costumers. This wasn't because of anything wrong with the restaurant, but because the people are slowly being killed by Facilier to pay off his F.O.T.O.S. Eventually the only person willing to go to her restaurant would be Facilier himself. Both to sample Tiana's excellent cooking and to be a horrible human being.]]
