The bacteria monster clearly gets distracted from completely grabbing him, so there's a chance he survived, although it may have touched him, and assuming the creatures have corrosive elements, his current state may be AFateWorseThanDeath, with Zyme returning [[BodyHorror partially deformed]] and driven insane from the trauma, becoming a villain, but one who is only interested in seeking vengeance against Dr. Viper.

The bacteria monster clearly seems like it gets distracted from completely grabbing him, him by Feral's helicopter, so there's a chance he survived, although it may have touched him, and assuming the creatures have corrosive elements, his current state may be AFateWorseThanDeath, with elements in their skin (or whatever purple blobs have that passes for skin) which aid them in absorbing prey, Zyme returning was probably seriously injured and probably [[BodyHorror partially deformed]] and driven deformed]], resulting in him living a reclusive existence with a NightmareFace that's AFateWorseThanDeath. Driven insane from the trauma, becoming the once gentle-hearted scientist becomes a villain, but one who is only interested in seeking vengeance against Dr. Viper.

[[WMG: Feral knows who the Swat Kats are, he just pretends not to, to give himself some plausible-deniability, since they can get away with stuff he can't.]] In fact, Feral not only knows the truth, but he created the Swat Kats on purpose. Let's go back to the beginning when Jake and Chance were in the Enforcers. They were the best pilot/gunner team Feral had. However, Feral runs the enforcers in a very by-the-book manner, and it's probably held them back on more than one occasion. Then Dark Kat shows up, and in a totally uncharacteristic moment of glory-hogging (he usually denies to admit the Swat Kats helped with the villian of the week, but I never saw him act that way in combat), he bumps their jet (despite Feral himself being an excellent pilot) and knocks them into the Enforcers' Headquarters. Now he probably didn't intend ''that'' much damage, but it accomplished his goal. Now you've got two people who owe several million dollars to fix the building. Why would you send them to a scrap yard, ''completely '''unsupervised''''', to work off their debt? Because Feral knew they wouldn't be able to just stand by and do nothing, and he also knows just what kind of scrap ends up in that yard. Fast forward to the present. Feral always complains about their vigilantism, but he has never once fired on the Turbokat while the Swat Kats were at the helm (alternate universe excepted). He also didn't seem too convinced when Hard Drive as T-Bone threatened the city in exchange for money. It's as if his pursuit of them to "uncover their identities" is just an act - a means of keeping them on their toes, perhaps? Not only that, but the technology in Megakat City is ''absurdly'' advanced. I find it hard to believe that Feral is never able to track them back to the junkyard hangar. Even if there was a jamming system in place, the junkyard is the only thing out that far in that direction. Just watching which way the Turbokat flies a few times would clue him in. Then comes Felina, the niece that he's super protective of. He's pretty much always with her except for when she sneaks off, but he doesn't put up too much of a fuss when she goes with the Swat Kats. Finally, let's not forget when the Metallikats learned the secret identities and offered them to Feral. He could've gotten the info from them and still arrested them, or have Dr. Hackle get the info from their computerized brains manually. But no, he neuralyzed them, making sure no one would know their identities. So why did he do it? He knows that as the law there's only so much he can do, so he put the best team he had in a position to work on their own. He also arranges for a bunch of high tech goodies to wind up at the junkyard without being decommissioned (missiles, etc.) to keep them in business.

* I thought that was outright said on the show? They mention a "Mega War" in the past and how Megakat City ITSELF won this war, so it's kind of obvious that Megakat City (and its foreign equivalents) are liken to Greek city states. Also the city is freakin' enormous--it stretched across the horizon in every direction. It's easily [[{{ComicBook/JudgeDredd}} Mega City One]]-sized at the very least, so being a nation onto itself is hardly outlandish.

[[WMG: Instead of more episodes, whoever buys the rights will make a movie.]] The movie will show Dark Kat's origin, hopefully as a judge since that's the official story that never made it into the series. Callie will date a Swat Kat. Steele and Feral will be two cases of AdaptationalVillainy: Steele will be a spy working for Dark Kat and Feral will join Turmoil's forces as someone intended for the series. Feral's case will only happen if they make a sequel. Mayor Manx will be portrayed as a former Enforcer who left the force to become a politician and, unlike the cartoon version, will [[AdaptationalHeroism strive to become courageous enough]] to honor the name of his war hero ancestor Blue Manx.

[[WMG: The Pastmaster will bring Red Lynx back.]] He'll restore the ghost and/or bring the original from the past. He might even send technology from out time to Red Lynx to change the war's outcome and thus erasing the Swat Kats from history. [[WMG: The people from the "bright and shiny" future know the Swat Kats' identities.]] Since it was a BadFuture where the Swat Kats perished in battle, someone might hav examined the bodies and identified them as Chance Furlong and Jake Clawson. The resistance group merely saw no reason to mention it.

[[WMG: The Swat Kats will use the dimensional radar again and it'll send them to our dimension.]] They'll be shocked at seeing humans; seeing a world where cats never evolved beyond pet status; milk being sold to children; and catnip isn't a controlled substance. They'll also find out it's from our dimension that Katscratch's gang used to get their supply.

[[WMG: The Dark Swat Kats are also disgraced Enforcers.]] After Feral ruins their careers like the mainstream Feral did to the protagonists, they also figured out they could use spare parts dumped at the junk yard. Unlike their counterparts from the main dimension, they let their hatred of Feral overpower their desire to stop bad guys and it led them to a FaceHeelTurn. [[WMG: Mayor Manx's MirrorUniverse self becomes a competent politician after Dark Callie Briggs is arrested.]] Out of fear that his next deputy is as dark as her, he refuses to trust him or her with any part of his job even if it means he'll actually have to do everything a Mayor is supposed to do.
