[[WMG: Coulson will suffer from PTSD during the series]]
Dying the resurrecting can't be easy on the psych. However, it won't always be obvious. Just stuff like avoiding knives and avoiding men with black hair dressed in green. SHIELD won't let him back if he's suffering anything that could effect his work.

[[WMG: The Heroes for Hire will appear]]
When the fact they were making a TV show leaked, the Heroes for Hire were one of the first things fans thought of. The format would work for TV, it would introduce some more female and PoC characters (a major complaint of the MCU) and with ''ComicBook/UltimateSpiderMan'' using two of the main three as main characters they do have a modern base.

[[WMG: Carol Danvers will appear]]
She's the lead in a new comic, female, has a military background... she won't appear all the time but she would fit the general idea.

[[WMG:The cast of Avengers will appear for special guest roles]]
Mostly season finale stuff.

[[WMG: It will be revealed Coulson CameBackWrong]]
Stabbed with a mindstone scepter, by a frost giant, and brought back by yet unknown means? Even if his psyche wasn't ripped to shreds, his body has to be effected in some way. A good guess would be him being a Sleeper Agent for Thanos (Though not intended to be but, well, stabbed through the heart + resurrection...) or he gets some of Loki's powers.

[[WMG: This entire series will take place before The Avengers.]]
This way the base might not be so broken.
* {{Jossed}} by the Josser himself.

[[WMG: Sharon Carter will make an appearance before or after showing up in ''Film/CaptainAmericaTheWinterSoldier'']]
Considering that she's played by Emily van Camp from {{Series/Revenge}}, another ABC show, this might be a possibility.

[[WMG: Coulson didn't die in ''The Avengers'']]
He could have easily fallen into a coma, explaining why he didn't appear in the rest of the movie, and Fury decided to tell the others he was dead in order to give them the push they needed. This obviously won't go down well with the other heroes, Tony especially, although that will most likely be discussed in their own respective movies. This concept would avoid the possibly cringe-worthy "resurrection" plot.
* He doesnt even need to have gone into a coma, they wanted to use his death to unite the team and the rest of the movie doesnt take too long. He could of been in surgery the whole time.

[[WMG: Coulson will die for real in the first season, or perhaps be revealed as being DeadAllAlong]]
Because Joss Whedon is just that cruel.

[[WMG: Hawkeye and Black Widow will appear.]]
Perhaps only in one or two episodes, but they are technically agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. so this would make sense.
* As an Addendum Nick Fury will show up in the pilot
** Or, much more likely, a recurring appearance by Maria Hill.
*** That might be difficult, since Cobie Smulders is still part of ''How I Met Your Mother''.

[[WMG: Coulson is now like 616 Nick Fury]]
Whatever brought him back left him immortal and took an eye.

[[WMG: 'Rising Tide' will be a Hydra remnant/successor]]

[[WMG: If Coulson dies in the series, the evil AI Ultron will upload his mind into a robot body to gain an advantage over SHIELD]]
Code name, Vision.

[[WMG: This show will never be canceled]]
Because if it were canceled, the ABC execs would be flayed alive by the combined angry mobs of Marvel fans and Joss Whedon cultists.

[[WMG: The Agents will take on an Extremis Soldier]]
What better way to save on special effects than to have someone who doesn't look superhuman? Besides, we haven't seen the last of the enhancement program by WordofGod. It's a perfect fit.

[[WMG: The first season's arc will be what happened to Coulson during the Avengers.]]
We would find out a simple version early on. A LMD, faked, etc. But, as time goes on, all these little details would stop adding up. If it's an LMD, why does he have scars? If he faked the death, why does he show signs of necrosis? etc. The finale will be either recreating or dealing with what happened on the Helicarrier and how he REALLY came back.

[[WMG: The black man in the teaser trailer who saves someone while jumping from a building is Luke Cage]]
Tying into the Heroes for Hire WMG above, they'll start introducing them early on in the series.

[[WMG: More SHIELD agents from the comics will appear in minor or reccuring roles]]
Agents like Clay Quartermain and Jimmy Woo may appear at several points. Same goes for the characters from ''[[Film/MarvelOneShots Item 47]]'' such as Sitwell.

[[WMG: "Rising Tide" is just a one-person operation that Skye runs]]
The trailer doesn't allude to Rising Tide being a massive villainous organization that opposes SHIELD, simply just as something that Skye presumably runs on her own to operate as a means to expose the organization's secrets.

[[WMG: The black guy with powers in the trailer is Patriot]]
There's a joke in there that he interprets S.H.I.E.L.D as that he should carry a shield himself, just like comics-Patriot. He could also be related to the Super-Soldier program and tie into Captain America.
** We see a shot where some weird device with orange liquids is connected to a guy's arms. Assuming it's the same hooded guy, maybe that device is the show's version of the serum that gave Patriot his powers in the comics.
*** Somewhat unlikely. We see him jumping from the top of a twenty story building without being scratched. Even bearing in mind the increased power of Cap in the movies, that is a rather extreme change in relative power level compared to the comic version of Eli.

[[WMG: The black guy with powers in the trailer is Luke Cage]]
* Marvel had said they had plans for the character in the MCU amongst others and this show could be how they do it.
** Sadly, this theory seems to have been shot down. Jeffrey Bell, the show's executive producer, said in an interview that the superhero played by J. August Richards isn't Luke Cage.

[[WMG: Ghost Rider is going to appear]]
In the trailer, Coulson is looking at what appears to be a floating flame thing. And for a few seconds before that you can see what appears to be motorbike handles/throttle. So it might be a possibility.

[[WMG: The bowdlerization of Coulson's being stabbed in ''The Avengers'' DVD is canon, and allowed his survival.]]
In the theatrical version of ''The Avengers'', Loki's spear stabbed ''right through his body, enough that it pierced his chest from the other side. No way he would have survived a wound that large; Loki would have at least punctured a lung and his pericardium. However, in the toned-down version of the DVD, Loki's spear doesn't poke out of his chest. Perhaps that retconned it so that Loki didn't stab Coulson as deeply as before, and thus gave him the chance for survival.

[[WMG: [[http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Wrestling/TheShield Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns]] will guest star at some point.]]
