[[WMG: One episode will feature a producer from Applewood wanting to make a movie about Twilight Sparkle and her friends]]
Possibly tying in to the upcoming ''Friendship is Magic'' movie, much like the ''Powerpuff Girls'' episode "Film Flam", the conflict comes about when Twilight learns her friends are depicted as [[{{Flanderization}} bungling, exaggerated versions of themselves]] while she's depicted as a near-flawless ParodySue.

[[WMG: Trixie will return in the third season, and... ]]
* She will have a royal commission to study friendship from Princess '''Luna''', effectively making her the [[BlackMagicianGirl Black Magician Pony]] to Twilight's [[MagicalGirlWarrior Magical Pony Warrior]], and will also wind up being either her WorthyOpponent, FriendlyEnemy, or TheRival.
* Or alternatively, she will seek [[RevengeBeforeReason revenge]]. After having proven that her greatness and power were just empty bluffs, Trixie realizes how powerless she really is and decides to [[GoalOrientedEvolution seek real power through magic]]. However, [[AmbitionIsEvil her hunger for power brings her to the point where all she cares about is power]] and [[SlowlySlippingIntoEvil she'll even break laws]] and [[ManipulativeBastard manipulate (and even harm) others]] just to become even more powerful. Eventually, she puts her power to the test by not just defeating but ''destroying'' an Ursa Major. Twilight Sparkle and her friends are [[ThisIsUnforgivable truly shocked by how twisted Trixie has become]] and call her out labelling her as a monster. [[WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity But, she couldn't care even the slightest about what other ponies think of her now]] as she believes that she is [[BlasphemousBoast above all of them]]. Thus, she develops a [[AGodAmI god complex]] and changes her stage name from "The Great and Powerful Trixie" to [[BlasphemousBoast "The ''Almighty'' Trixie."]] She then plans to [[RevengeBeforeReason get revenge on Twilight Sparkle]], overthrow Princesses Celestia and Luna and [[TakeOverTheWorld claim Equestria all for herself]]. Thus, Twilight Sparkle and her friends pull together to put an end to her dangerously selfish ambitions once and for all.
* Due to fan demand, Trixie's return will be kinda unavoidable.

Even though they won't be in true opposition to each other (both will be trying to save friendships and ponies with what they learn) the [[EvilCounterpart mirroring aspect]] will be complete enough that while Twilight is focused on what makes friendships start and grow, Trixie will be finding out what makes them fail and die. Also, while Twilight has Spike as a [[NonHumanSidekick Non-Pony Sidekick]], Trixie will wind up with Snips & Snails as her [[MinionWithAnFInEvil assistants]].

At least a fifth to a fourth of the show's Aesop endings will be submitted by Trixie to Luna, and will provide a wrap-up of what NOT to do.

* Alternatively, she becomes a recurring antagonist, and somehow gets [[MinionWithAnFInEvil Snips and Snails]] [[TerribleTrio as as her henchmen,]] basically making them TeamRocket for the mane cast.

* Trixie is ''confirmed'' to be returning in series 3. Whether any of these guesses are true is unknown as of yet.

* '''Confirmed''' that Trixie returns for revenge, but in a completely different way [[spoiler: that appears to end in a HeelFaceTurn.]]

[[WMG: A musical Episode!]]
Even more than usual, I mean. [[Music/WeirdAlYankovic Weird Al]] could make a [[CrowningMusicOfAwesome Pony Polka!]]
* Alternatively, the Mane Six lose all their voices due to the musical villain (possibly played by "Weird Al") so the plot will be mostly served [[ADayInTheLimeLight by the background ponies]] like Octavia and DJ Pon-3.
* Twilight Sparkle and her friends form a [[FiveManBand Six Mare Band]] and are eventually challenged by a more popular rock band with a male leader to a BattleOfTheBands.
** Bonus points if the leader is voiced by either a real [[NoCelebritiesWereHarmed musician]] or voice actor!
*** Magical Mystery Cure was pretty much a musical episode. Confirmed!
*** ''Doubly confirmed!'' Weird Al is making an appearance in the Season 4 episode "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS4E12PinkiePride Pinkie Pride]]" which WordOfGod says is a musical episode. ''AND'' he's playing a villain (it sounds like he's serving the same sort of role to Pinkie as Trixie was to Twilight).
*** ''Confirmed!'' Weird Al does appear in Pinkie Pride, it is a musical episode and it may not be called Pony Polka officially but it is. Right down to him singing Pinkie's Smile. Though calling him a villain in the episode goes a notch or two past stretching. Pinkie is far more antagonistic than Cheese Sandwich (Weird Al) is during the episode. [[spoiler: It turns out all he ever wanted was to be like Pinkie!]]
*** maybe we'll get another one in season 5, played by Creator/{{NeilPatrickHarris}} as a Main/{{TheMusicMeister}}

[[WMG: There will be an episode where Dash finally gets an invite to join the Wonderbolts...]]
... But ends up turning it down, because she finds out that if she takes it she'll rarely ever get to see her friends again. The aesop of the episode would be something like sometimes friends are more important than one's own desires.
* Alternatively, it could be somethinng like she finally gets an invite to join them, but something puts her friends in danger (Possibly the antagonist of season 3). She would then be forced between her friends or joining the Wonderbolts, to which she'll get a BigDamnHeroes moment when she chooses her friends.
** You really think Discord would simply do something like that? Assuming he would come back.
** Either that, or Dash chooses to TakeAThirdOption, and somehow finds a way to be loyal to her friends and the Wonderbolts at the same time (possibly performing another Sonic Rainboom on the way to and/or in order to rescue her friends), and our Aesop for the episode is something about how you can (and should) always make time for your friends.
* '''Confirmed''' in "Wonderbolt Academy," though that's not why she turns the invitation down ... and it's never mentioned again afterwards.

[[WMG: Alternatively, there will be an episode involving RD and Wonderbolts but she will just hang with them or be a temporary member.]]
And episode will be about or conclusion from it that RD will abandon for now or forever of her dream to be Wonderbolt and stick with rest of main six as what she realizes that it is her true calling.
* Alternatively-alternatively (Wonderbolt episode ideas are fun!), one of the Wonderbolts gets injured before an upcoming race with a rival team and Spitfire suggests having Rainbow Dash (she did win the Best Young Flyer's competition after all) fill in. As it turns out, the rival team is the best flying team of griffons, with none other than Gilda (who's still bitter about the events of "Griffon the Brush Off") among their ranks. At some point in the episode, for whatever reason, Gilda's life will be in danger and Dash will have to choose between saving Gilda or winning the race for the Wonderbolts, and of course chooses Gilda. They reconcile, Spitfire tells Dash she made the right choice even though the Wonderbolts lost the race, an Aesop is given about loyalty to friends, you get the idea.
* Or Dash is given the chance to perform a routine with them, triggering a major "ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh" attack. While she doesn't become a permanent mamber, she a least gets to keep the costume.
* '''Confirmed''' original WMG as of "Rainbow Falls."

[[WMG: Pinkie Pie will have an episode where the Aesop will be about PoorCommunicationKills]]
Because after the [[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS1E10SwarmOfTheCentury paraspite ep]], it would be odd. Might show up in season 3 instead.
* Partially Confirmed. While not the episode's focus, Season 4's Filli Vanilli does show Pinkie making Fluttershy's stage fright worse via PoorCommunicationKills.

[[WMG: Twilight Sparkle will be turned into a [[OurVampiresAreDifferent Vampony]]]]
But she'll find that [[YourVampiresSuck undeath is overrated]] as she can't be around her friends without hungering for their blood (or LifeEnergy since it's a kid's show), can't see her beloved mentor's sun again, and [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking doesn't cast a reflection]]. So she'll find a cure for it by the end of the episode.
* Wrong pony -- it's [[spoiler: Fluttershy]]. But apparently Equestrian vampires are very different.

[[WMG: There will be an episode where Spike feels embarrassed about only hanging out with girls.]]
* Some other boys (dragon, pony, or otherwise) will tease Spike about his "girly" interests, probably after he's just helped Rarity with something particularly girly, and he'll spend the episode trying to prove that he's "manly." At the end, he will learn AnAesop (possibly from [[{{Tomboy}} Rainbow Dash]]) about how your ''real'' friends don't care if you're a boy who likes girly things or a girl who likes boyish things, and will accept you for who you are. The entire episode will be filled to the brim with nods to the [[PeripheryDemographic bronies]] who aren't afraid to admit to enjoying "a show for little girls."
** This story more or less happened with [[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS2E21DragonQuest "Dragon Quest"]], although Spike wasn't ''embarrassed'' by his pony friends per-se.

[[WMG: Trixie and Gilda will meet up and become friends with each other and semi-friendly rivals with the Mane cast.]]
The "Gilda and Trixie become friends" part is CONFIRMED in WesternAnimation/TwilightSparkleAndTheCrystalHeartSpell.

[[WMG: There will be a horror parody episode.]]
Which will be in Horror Anthology format, with a mysterious narrator telling three or four stories in one episode, all either borrowing from a story in the fandom or being a new one but with a few references, also being a bit marginally lighter than the source, the TwistEnding of the episode will reveal [[spoiler: either Pinkie Pie or ''Fluttershy'' as the narrator, just telling creepy stories to her friends]].
* That could work as a Halloween special...
* '''Confirmed''' as of "Sleepless in Ponyville".

It is already established that Sunburst is the brains of the duo and Starlight is the brawn. We also know from "It's About Time" that the timeline is stable. Flurry Heart being an alicorn is obviously going to be important later on (possibly to the villain's plans, but for the sake of this theory, let's assume that she needs to be an alicorn so the villain can be defeated for some reason). After Sunburst realizes that he is Star Swirl (see the "Sunburst = Star Swirl" theory on the [[WMG/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicSecondaryCharacters Secondary Character Guesses]] and [[WMG/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicMinorCharacters Minor Character Guesses]] pages for more details), he and Starlight pool their talents to travel back in time and cast a spell on one of FH's ancestors to ensure that she is born an alicorn. Also, Celestia and Luna were the ones who discovered the Tree of Harmony in the Everfree Forest. But if ''Literature/TheJournalOfTheTwoSisters'' is canon, Star Swirl was the one who urged them to go explore the forest. It's quite possible that Sunburst and Starlight were the ones who created the tree, the Elements, the chest, the map, and the Rainbow Power. (All of those things have always screamed intelligent design to me.) This means that Sunburst and Starlight were orchestrating the defeat of all the villains so far. And if Sunburst started leaving notes to Celestia after the events of the journal, that explains why she was so knowledgeable about Twilight's destiny. Something happened to Starlight before the founding of Equestria (by this point, he has already grown competent enough to be a great wizard for real), which would explain the absence of a female companion to Star Swirl.
