[[WMG: The wish isn't beholden to EquivalentExchange.]]
This is unlikely to be true as it would almost certainly [[ShaggyDogStory render the story pointless]], but it could be a fun headcanon or fic idea.

So, the show claims that the powers of creation and destruction must remain in balance. But there seems to be nothing stopping a wielder of the Ladybug or Cat Miraculous from using their power alone indefinitely (as happened during Cat Noir's bout of despair in Season 4, and certainly other points in history). It only applies to the wish. Then, [[Recap/MiraculousLadybugSP03MiraculousWorldParis the "Paris" special]] shows that limitations can be placed on the kwamis to prevent them from granting a wish. Hence, the Order of the Guardians {{invoked}} the EquivalentExchange rule, fearing that the wish would be used too disruptively without it.

* Seems reasonable. Gabriel's goal there was to play supervillain to get the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous out into circulation. As far as we know, Lila just wants revenge on Ladybug, and she doesn't have to make herself known to accomplish that.

[[WMG: Cerise will take a more active role in causing negative emotions.]]
While Gabriel was a busy man and usually didn't play an active role in causing a target's negative emotion himself unless the opportunity came to him by luck, Cerise has more spare time and goes outside much more often, giving her plenty of opportunities to piss people off herself.

Marinette will eventually realize that, with the inevitable Bad Publicity that comes with the truth about Monarch, she will be completely alone, just like Cerise promised. What Cerise doesn't actually think about is that Adrien would wind up staying on Marinette's side, understanding she did what she had to do and while she does make mistakes, she knows more about being human than Chloe or Cerise can ever imagine.

*Plus there's a chance that he knew the whole time about his father, so it would make sense that he would lie as well so both sides would keep each other from falling off the slippery slope. Unfortunately, they've been skating on thin ice and now that ice is cracking.

[[WMG: Alternatively, Lila could reveal the truth about Monarch.]]
And to further [[Film/SpiderManNoWayHome rub it in Marinette's face]], she'll yell "LADYBUG'S NAME IS MARINETTE DUPAIN-CHENG!" to the world.

*Only time will tell if she IS completely alone or not. Perhaps Alya or Nino will also stay on Marinette's side despite the backlash.

[[WMG: Cerise is actually this universe's equivalent to [[VideoGame/Persona5 Yaldabaoth.]]]]
Both Monarch and Team Ladybug are pawns a game of chess run by her to prove she is the only perfect being in the universe without flaws, meant to control everything else.

[[WMG: The Supreme will become an anatagonist in season 6.]]
Mentioned in ''Miraculous Ladybug: Paris'', the Supreme could appear in the prime universe. If so, it is possible their arrival was depicted in the season five finale stinger with Cerise the first to meet them. This might result in the two entering into a partnership, where the Supreme provides Cerise indepth knowledge on the Miraculouses while she contributes by extorting Kagami Tsurugi, for her connections to Monarch, into helping them.

[[WMG: Alternatively, Cerise is the third sentimonster.]]
She was created by Nadja as a big sister figure to Manon. However, Nadja felt more love at Manon and not as Cerise, dubbing the latter as a monster. Feeling abandoned, Cerise concluded HumansAreBastards and decides to seek the Miraculous to create a perfect world where humans never existed.

While there was an attempt to get her away from Chloé in "Evillustrator," all Sabrina did was try to make Marinette her new leader. So an alternate route will eventually be explored: Sabrina enters a group without Chloé for an assignment, (probably Rose and Juleka, to invoke BlondeBrunetteRedhead,) and she will be rendered unable to choose a temporary Chloé. Sabrina discovers new interests and the joy of friendship on equal footing. Even if she returns to Chloé's side in the end — because without her, the AlphaBitch will have no-one at all — StatusQuoIsGod will still be averted, because she goes back with a mind of her own, and, hopefully, [[SignificantWardrobeShift a nicer outfit]].

Félix/Argos becoming an official Miraculous Hero unsurprisingly ticked off a lot of people considering he was the reason most of the Miraculous ended up in the hands of Hawk Moth. But think of it like this, even if Marinette managed to take away the Peacock from him, who would she give it to? Whoever wields it will instantly learn that Adrien and Félix and Kagami are sentimonsters from a glance at their rings. Whoever wields it will likely realize that Gabriel is Hawk Moth and Ladybug lied about Gabriel being a hero. Whoever wields it has the ability to murder her boyfriend in a split second if they choose to not value his life. Whoever wields it will have to be given a long ethics class on the treatment and value of sentimonsters and life. Even if she's still mad at Félix, she knows full well that the power Duusu gives is simply would be too dangerous and easy to abuse in anyone else's hands.

At the end of Season 5, Gabriel manages to get both the ladybug and black cat miraculous and make his wish. But it's stated this requires a sacrifice of equal measure. He saves both Emelie and Natalie, but seemingly only sacrificed himself. Even Gimmi, the kwami able to grant wishes, states that a wish requires balancing the universe by making an equal sacrifice.

The guilt of lying to Adrien, and so many people in Paris, will almost certainly weigh on her. To say nothing of the terror of what would happen if anything found out. Adrien finding out his father is Hawkmoth would already up-end Adrien's entire worldview, to say nothing of him being a sentimonster, his creation being what killed his mom and started his father's descent into terrorism and madness, and the fact that Ladybug knew all of this and lied to him.

This is pretty much a given, but let's consider the possibilities: while parts of the season five finale [[EsotericHappyEnding ruined it for many fans]], there is no denying that things have never been better for all of the characters that matter. This will all change when Lila (or whatever the heck she's calling herself now) makes her move with the Butterfly Miraculous. Now not only do Ladybug and Cat Noir have to deal with a new wave of Akumas, but also an outraged public accusing them of lulling everyone into a false sense of security with the belief that the attacks were finally over. Some people might even get Akumatized over it and target the heroes out of spite.

[[WMG: Many of Gabriel's old business associates will try to use his hero status to manipulate Adrien into following in his father’s footsteps for their own purposes]]
While Marinette may have told Adrien that he didn’t need to live up to his father's “legacy” and could just be himself, these people will be more interested in controlling Gabriel’s company through him when he's old enough to take over. To that end, they will pressure him to continue modeling and study to become the new CEO instead of doing what he wants, all for the sake of becoming a man his father could be proud of. Marinette will protest against this, of course, but her voice will be drowned out by the many others who insist that Adrien should absolutely want to be just like his awesome old man, including many of their friends. As Adrien becomes more and more miserable and conflicted, Marinette will slowly realize that he will never be free unless she tells him the truth about his father, forcing her to make a devastating choice.

In order to not completely shatter what little emotional stability the boyfriend she's been trying to get all season had left, she honored Gabriel's request and made him the hero that stopped Hawkmoth along with her. Marinette would almost certainly feel guilt lying to Adrien like that, let alone the fact she's essentially forcing Plagg, Felix and Kagami to lie with her, even if only by association.
