[[WMG: Despite what Annie said...]]
* Vader is actually [[spoiler:Anakin after all, and Padmé really was the one that died.]] Annie and the GM could have just been lying when they said [[spoiler:Vader was Padmé.]]

* The problem with this guess is that that strip made it quite clear that ''Franchise/StarWars'' exists in the ''Webcomic/DMOfTheRings'' universe. ''Film/LordOfTheRings'' has also been mentioned in ''Webcomics/DarthsAndDroids''.

** But didn't one of the captions say Harrison Ford is well known for playing IndianaJones within the Darths & Droids universe?

* Obviously in the breaks in this campaign the GM is running his [[IndianaJones pulp adventure campaign]].

* At the very least Darth Vader ''claims'' not to have been Anakin. Darth Vader, with the help of a flashback, claims to be [[spoiler:''Padme''.]]

Let us count the signs: He wears a suit for his job; Sometimes he has to show up late due to working with his clients; He's been inside a prison; He's very good at working the rules of the game to his advantage. The signs are all there.

This also adds . . . depth, let's say . . . to any background NPCs who get injured and shout, "Oooh, my splanch!!"

(Note: The originator of this guess has only just finished the D&D version of the Prequel Trilogy, so for all she knows, this may have been Jossed months or years ago in the Original Trilogy.)

[[WMG: On the origin of splanches . . .]]
(Note: The originator of this guess has only just finished the D&D version of the Prequel Trilogy, so for all she knows, this may have been Jossed months or years ago in the Original Trilogy.)
The splanch is the organ in a Clawdite that lets them shift shape. If you're doing a surgery or autopsy on an influential personage and you unexpectedly find a splanch, then there's actually a Clawdite impostor. Boba will live even if he never gets the splanch transplant Zam Wesell tried to pay for; he just won't be able to shift from his "Jango Junior" form (though of course he'll grow up and age). Maybe his being half-Zabrak is why his splanch is wonky.

* Pete will play [[TheHeavy Kylo Ren]]. After seeing how much fun Annie had roleplaying Vader, he just drops the pretense and embraces his power hunger wholesale, he also decides to try and roleplay some more and ends up becoming a really annoying [[TheThespian Thespian]], [[spoiler: somewhat screwing up his MinMaxing this time and rolling up a StoneWall of a character that ends up being bested by Sally's]].
