[[WMG: Prometheus will eventually try and force Evelyn to kill one of her teammates]]
At some point, one of Team Arrow's members will be captured (unlikely Oliver himself) by Prometheus, who will then instruct Evelyn to [[IfYoureSoEvilEatThisKitten prove her loyalty to him]] by executing them, probably using her signature bow and arrow. This is a very common scenario in fiction, though the result could go a bunch of different ways:

--Evelyn will hesitate, but then will ultimately fire the arrow, though it's unlikely that character will actually be killed (there may be a BigDamnHeroes moment).

--Evelyn will hesitate and will be unable to go through with it, so Prometheus kills ''her''.

--Evelyn will ultimately turn around and fire the arrow at Prometheus.

[[WMG: Laurel's return is caused by parallel events on Legends of Tomorrow]]
In the second season premiere of ''Series/LegendsOfTomorrow'' Sara notes that if she kills Damien Darhk in the past then Laurel will never be killed in 2016. As of writing this, the midseason finale of ''Legends of Tomorrow'' has yet to air (still about an hour and a half away), but while the full Legion of Doom may be formed, Darhk may actually be killed by the end of the episode, which will bring back Laurel. Or, alternatively, Darhk doesn't necessarily die in LoT--at least not so soon--but at the end of the episode "Compromised", Eobard Thawne plucked him from 1987 to join him on his evil time-travelling adventures. This act changed Damien Darhk's destiny, because he no longer just sticks around until 2015-2016 to begin his siege on Star City, but is now off with the Legion of Doom--thus, he isn't around in 2016 to kill Laurel, and so she's back. NiceJobFixingItVillain by Eobard Thawne, indeed.

[[WMG: Laurel at the end of "What We Leave Behind" is...]]
Black Siren AKA Earth 2 Dinah Laurel Lance, impersonating her Earth 1 counterpart. At some point, Black Siren escaped from the Pipeline (or maybe in the Post-Flashpoint timeline, she simply was never imprisoned there and managed to escape from the scene before Team Flash could take her into custody). She spent several months studying Team Arrow on this earth, and her Earth 1 counterparts life, and then decided to begin a new life on Earth 1 by stealing the deceased Laurel's life. So she shows up at the Arrowcave, posing as a resurrected Laurel, and hoping to pursue a relationship with the doppelganger of her deceased boyfriend. As she gains Oliver and Team Arrow's trust and sinks into the role of Black Canary, she gradually pulls a HeelFaceTurn and becomes a hero...eventually revealing to Oliver who she really is. By that point of course Oliver has fallen in love with her and is prepared to forgive her and accept her as Laurel. The others on the team...may have differing views on that.

[[WMG: Prometheus is Konstantin Kovar.]]
Enormous, skilled fighter, knows some of the moves Oliver learned in Russia, he fits all the criteria but one -- he's too old to be the thirty-something bastard child of one of the Hood's victims. Unless...

[[WMG: Prometheus is TheMuscle working for Susan Williams.]]
Susan is the illegitimate daughter of Justin Claybourne. She traveled to Russia to learn more about Oliver, and there she recruited Kovar to be the face (well, the mask) of the revenge scheme.

He's re-staging the Hood's most notable killings from Season 1 as a way of forcing Oliver to confront his murderous past. Claybourne's death just happened to be the first one Prometheus re-staged.

re-staged, while the picture of Claybourne's son was Prometheus reminding Oliver that his actions have reverberating consequences.

[[WMG: In the 100th episode, Oliver will be possessed by the Black Mercy]]

We already know that in the episode, which is part of the "Invasion!" crossover, that Oliver finds himself in a LotusEaterMachine. Presumably, the Dominators put him in there, and this would be the best way for them to do it. Especially since Supergirl would have experience and would know how to help.
