* In Worm, Emma Barnes is Taylor's biggest tormentor, smugly torturing her for the first couple of arcs. THEN she learns that her punching bag (who she thought "weak") was in fact a powerful super villain and could have wiped her out plenty of times since January. After that she simply shuts down and stammers. Sophia Hess, Taylor's OTHER tormentor, goes completely apeshit and kicks the TV in frustration

** Similarly, in the AlternateHistory[=/=]Literature/NineteenEightyFour fanfic ''Literature/AmericasStepbrotherAmericasEnemyTwoPointZero'', the Inner Party of Oceania become increasingly high-strung as the reality of their imminent defeat becomes more apparent to them and their ability to use {{Doublethink}} to cope becomes compromised.

* In ''WebAnimation/{{RWBY}}'', when Ruby Rose boards the Atlesian cruiser that Roman Torchwick hijacked, he gets very frustrated as this is the third time she's meddled in his fun, but he doesn't go into full breakdown until she's able to take Neo out of the picture and she vows to win the day. He quickly resorts to beating her with his cane, ranting and raving about how her HeroicSpirit doesn't have a place in this cold and unfeeling world, that if she's going to play the part of the hero, then she should just roll over and die already and that he'll keep on going by lying, cheating, stealing and surviving. [[spoiler:He's then promptly eaten by a Griffin Grimm.]]

** The following episode sees Cinder, who is usually unnervingly calm no matter how many things interfere with her plans, ''completely'' lose any semblance of composure when [[spoiler: Ruby attacks her with previously hidden power]] during what was meant to be a moment of unquestionable triumph.

* In ''TheSpoonyExperiment'' review of ''VideoGame/StreetFighter2010'', Doctor Insano suffers a breakdown after failing to create the ultimate being (instead producing a cute pink blob thing). He begins crying about how his science never works and nobody loves him before his new "son" cheers him up.
* ''SurvivalOfTheFittest'': [[EvilBrit Maxwell Lombardi]] has an epic one (complete with [[LaughingMad laughter]]!) in his final fight with Naoko Raidon [[spoiler:which he does not survive]].

* ''WebVideo/EpicRapBattlesofHistory'':
** UsefulNotes/AdolfHitler loses what little sanity he had in his final battle with Vader, killing [[spoiler:Boba Fett]] and delivering a final verse composed of nonsensical insults that don't even sort of rhyme.
** [[Literature/TheSilenceOfTheLambs Hannibal Lecter]] has a far more mild one when UsefulNotes/JackTheRipper points out that he's a fictional character, but regains his composure by his next verse.

* In ''WebVideo/IfTheEmperorHadATextToSpeechDevice'', Karamazov breaks down once [[spoiler:Custodes surround him]], screaming that he's the only one left pure, that everyone else is a heretic and that the text-to-speech device is a lie. He gets over it quickly enough, but loses it ten times as hard when he finds out he's [[spoiler:exiled to the Warp with an addled Kaldor Draigo]], with what could only be subtitled as [[{{Angrish}} [Inquisitorial Angry]]].
