There's also another Fan Sequel in production, titled [[http://gamejolt.com/games/super-space-funeral-4-deluxe-blood-red-version-bubsy/105850# Super Space Funeral 4 Deluxe Blood Red Version & Bubsy]] with graphics that are a little easier on the eyes.

eyes, but the focus on {{Bubsy}} got so big that the game ultimately became a DivorcedInstallment known as ''[[http://gamejolt.com/games/bubsy-in-super-bubsy-3d-blast-rpg-purrresident-evil/226887# Bubsy in Super Bubsy 3D Blast RPG: Purrresident Evil!]]'''

Made by thecatamites using RPG Maker 2003, ''Space Funeral'' technically does have role-playing elements, but they're downplayed in favor of emphasizing its odd, garish aesthetics. Graphically, think of the game's style akin to ''[[VideoGame/{{Mother}} Mother 2]]'', only drawn by seven year-old with a mild fascination with gore and some-such. The game's music, a motley mix of mellow '60s classic rock, '80s Japanese electronica, and other antiqued styles, only adds to the weirdness. Other highlights include largely macabre-yet-amusing writing, and a seemingly nonsensical story that intertwines wizards, Lucy from {{Peanuts}}, pirate squids, cranky mummies, literal crime lords, living slabs of steak, and Dracula. Oh, and there's enough blood for everybody!

Although on the short side (it's possible to complete the game in well under an hour), Space Funeral is still a fun deconstruction and parody of horror genres and role-playing games. You can find the game available for download [[http://gamejolt.com/freeware/games/rpg/space-funeral/3492/ here]].

* WidgetSeries: The game is very easy to beat, taking only an hour at the least. It is also very weird.

* UltimateLifeForm: [[spoiler: The City of Forms is described as absolutely perfect, to the point that it serves as a sort of template for everything in the world. When the BigBad visited it he went mad after finding everything there so perfect that anything else seemed like a gross mockery, and corrupted it (and thus corrupted the entire world in the process.)]]

A FanSequel called ''Space Funeral: Earth Birth'' was made by tumblr user [[http://duckstapler.com/earthbirth.html Duck Stapler]]. Thecatamites himself actually liked the game and [[AscendedFanon declared it]] [[ApprovalOfGod canon]] (though the seriousness of it is debatable).
