* GainaxEnding: The first game ends jarringly as soon as Sordid is vanquished, with a games show presenter to make a shameless plug over [[SequelHook next year's sequel]]. Even Simon is ''baffled'' and asks what is going on. We don't see Calypso make a proper appearance after being saved. Suddenly, Simon's back on Earth, in his bedroom believing it was AllJustADream. Then a [[OrWasItADream huge mechanical arm emerges from a portal]] to abduct him back to the fantasy world.
