Moving this to YMMV, I didn't know this was a YMMV trope.

* BreatherBoss: The 7th Gym Leader, Brycen, is probably the easiest gym battle in the game. His Pokémon include Vanillish, Cryogonal, and Beartic which are all pure-Ice types and are weak to four different types. They can all be knocked out in one or two hits.

* HealingShiv: The move Healing Pulse, which only works on a target other than the user. It's supposed to be used for Double and Triple Battles, [[AIRoulette but if you're lucky enough]] a high-leveled wild Audino may use it on you.
* HelpfulMook: Higher level Audino may heal you with Healing Pulse. In addition, there are trainers classified as Doctors and Nurses. Defeat them, and they will then heal your entire party to full every time you talk to them afterwards. Very useful, since they tend to be positioned deep in caves/Routes.

* GameOfNim: In the Dream World, you can play a game against ghost-type Pokémon where the players take turns blowing out candles. Some candles, however, give you extra points, while others subtract them, and later ones take two turns to extinguish.

However, they ended up having a fallout over truth and ideals, which resulted in the dragon splitting into three beings due to the division: Reshiram personifying truth, Zekrom personifying ideals, and what was left becoming the husk-like Kyurem.

[[spoiler:The former is a WellIntentionedExtremist who genuinely believes in the cause and makes a HeelFaceTurn when he realizes just how corrupt his organization is. Meanwhile, Ghetsis is a StrawHypocrite who created Team Plasma out of a desire for power and becomes even worse in [[VideoGame/PokemonBlack2AndWhite2 the sequel]]. In addition, N sees his Pokemon as friends and only owns them temporarily out of a misguided belief that owning Pokemon is a form of abuse; Ghetsis views Pokemon as mere tools and is [[BadPeopleAbuseAnimals heavily implied to abuse them]].]]
