* DramaQueen: The Commander's wife really only exists only [spoiler: to either die], cry a lot or to claim that she loves you. That's all she ever does.

* AntiVillain /[[AntiHero Anti Hero]]: Kane's actions in this game are nearly heroic, what with working with GDI to create the Tiberium Control Network to save the planet, even if it's largely to help him complete his "Ascension."

* FridgeLogic: In the first part of the Nod mission "Bleed Out", you have to command a few engineers to capture a GDI Crawler to bring it near to you so that you can be healed inside the Crawler, [[spoiler: while you are still bleeding to death as Kane! Besides, you can also still listen patiently to CABAL's briefing before the whole mission (especially if you are playing the mission for the first time). Seems like you, as a Nod Commander, has become so badass that you can still command your army as usual even when you are gravely wounded]].
