whoops...
* SpiritualAdaptation: This isn't ''actually'' an official Star Trek licensed game. That hasn't stopped modders from creating [=LCARS=] interfaces, Trek ship models and skins, and more. Even without them, it's probably the closest you can get to standing on the Enterprise's bridge without [[ExplosiveInstrumentation installing fireworks in your laptop]].

* PhotoprotoneutronTorpedoes: Notably averted, given the game's inspirations. The primary kinetic armament are simply called "homing torpedoes," and the high-damage upgrades are explicitly called out as [[NukeEm nuclear]].

* StandardSciFiFleet: Destroyers (similar in some ways to a Patrol Boat) and Transports wander around, and Starbases offer resupply. The players get to choose between a Scout (something like a Cutter), a Light Cruiser, a Missile Cruiser, a Battleship, and a Dreadnought.

I feel that both these games are very similar: a starship defending starbases from an invasion fleet while managing resources like energy and ammunition.
