* ShoutOut: Look closely enough, and you'll see that there're wallpapers of ''VisualNovel/ClockZero'' found hanging on theater billboards in a [[https://yukiruyume.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/amnesia_0001.jpeg?w=600 certain area in the city]].

An interesting spin on the otome genre, ''Amnesia'' is an [[{{RomanceGame}} Otome Game]] released by Otomate in 2011, who quickly became very popular thanks to its innovative story: instead of having the heroine attempt to win the heart of a guy, the heroine is in a pre-existing relationship. A part of the gameplay is to help the heroine adjust to the now-unfamilar world without arousing the suspicion of those close to her. It also spawned three fandiscs, ''Amnesia LATER'' and ''Amnesia CROWD'' for the PSP and ''Amnesia WORLD'' for the PlaystationVita (the original game got a port for the PS Vita called ''Amnesia V Edition'' as well), a manga adaptation and an anime by Creator/BrainsBase that aired in the Winter 2013 season.

An English version of the game was released by [[IdeaFactory Idea Factory International]] on PlaystationVita and UsefulNotes/{{Steam}} on August 25, 2015 under the title ''Amnesia: Memories''. An iOS and Android port of the English version was also published by Gloczus, Inc on August 31, 2015.

* AlternateUniverse: The game plays around with this: the player can choose between four (later five) different worlds, in each one the heroine's story is radically different. The fandiscs also follow this pattern, with different [=AUs=] being featured.

* HappilyMarried: One of the segments in ''CROWD'' is an epilogue where the heroine marries her boyfriend.
