** [[Anime/MobileSuitZetaGundam Quattro Bajeena and Jamitov Hymen, anyone?!]]
*** "Bajeena" has actually been romanised as "Vagina" on at least some official merchandise.
** Also our young protagonist Camille Bidan [[BerserkButton got into a lot of fisticuffs and even earned a mortal enemy for being noted of having a girl's name]] (technically, the name is gender-neutral, but it is more commonly used for girls).

anyone?!]] Jamitov's name does at least get written as "Hymem" in most materials but it is still one letter away from Hymen, so really, its not much of a fix. As for Quattro, "Bajeena" has actually been romanised as "Vagina" on at least some official merchandise.
** Also our young protagonist Camille Kamille Bidan [[BerserkButton got into a lot of fisticuffs and even earned a mortal enemy for being noted of having a girl's name]] (technically, the name is gender-neutral, but it is more commonly used for girls).

** ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamZZ'' had Elpeo Puru, a young pilot named after ''Lemon/L People'' (''Eru Pīpuru''), a popular hentai magazine with an unhealthy focus on young girls. Given the unsettling hints about her handler Glemmy's proclivities, this is appropriate in all the wrong ways.
** All of the [[ArtificialHuman Innovators]] of ''Anime/MobileSuitGundam00'' have odd names, which besides those of Tieria and Ribbons tend to be verbs changed into nouns (as in [[SpellMyNameWithAnS Healing/Hilling]] Care). One's name is Bring Stability, but the name has also been translated as [[AwesomeMcCoolname Bring]] [[KnifeNut Stab]][[NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast bity]].

And aside from that, another member is named, no word of a lie, Revive Revival.

Added DiffLines:

** The resident CharClone of ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamUnicorn'' is called Full Frontal. Its supposed to refer to his preferred method of attack but instead [[FullFrontalAssault brings to mind the idea of him running at you completely butt naked.]]

* In ''Anime/HaibaneRenmei'', all Haibane are named by other Haibane due to what dream they had in their cocoon. * Although Gin, the protagonist of ''Manga/GingaNagareboshiGin'', is named for the Japanese word for "silver", western fans probably can't be blamed if the first thing they think of when they read the name is a certain alcoholic beverage. The Japanese spelling makes the correct pronunciation very clear, though. Admittedly one of the tamer cases... especially when one considers that [[Manga/GingaDensetsuWeed his son]] is named Weed.

* The eponymous teacher from ''Manga/SayonaraZetsubouSensei'' -- Nozomu Itoshiki -- counts. Thanks to the kanji used in his family name, his full name, read as a single word, can mean "despair". Likewise, the name of his immediate older brother Mikoto can be read as "death" (ironic enough for a doctor), his younger sister Rin "unequaled [in sexual prowess]", his other (estranged) brother Enishi "disinherited", and Enishi's son Majiru "breakup" (on account of having to freeload with his youngest uncle, Nozomu). It also extends to the rest of the characters, several of whom consider marriage just to get out of it.
** But then, the entire series is based around these puns, so it's not surprising.
