I'm only looking out for your well-being, although I don't see why ''I'' should care when ''you'' plainly don't. I'd even be willing to help you do some exercises. --Not like ''that''! Get your mind out of the gutter!

[---I do wish you'd spend a little more time with me… jerk.---]

* Donna from TheWestWing starts out as this, though she gets increasingly testy as Josh, her boss and the object of her affection, hobbles her professionally and gives her grunt work far below her capabilities.

* Murray Goldberg from ''Series/TheGoldbergs'' is the often grumpy father, depicted by Adam as no-nonsense and blunt, with a pension for saying "Moron" to them whenever they mess up (which is often). Rarely is he truly happy, unless it's watching TV or stripping off his pants after work.

** Tsundere behaviour is characteristic of portrayals of Lois right from her first appearance in 1938. She mellowed a bit during UsefulNotes/{{the Silver Age of Comic Books}} when she became obsessed with marrying Superman, but became more feminist and independent in the 70s and 80s. ''Series/{{Lois and Clark}}'' had her in full flight as a Tsundere, especially in the first two seasons. Her nickname at the ''Daily Planet'' was Mad Dog Lane, and she lived up to it until Clark wormed his way through her defences and got her to see him as more than a rival and the "hick from Nowheresville."
* Athena from the original ''Series/{{Battlestar Galactica|1978}}'' can be very hot-tempered--especially when it concerns Starbuck [[TheCasanova doting on other women]]. Other than that, she usually keeps a cool head on duty and being sweet and loving towards her father.
** Same goes for Sheba, who is usually seen bickering with Apollo.
* ''Series/DoctorWho'': Amy Pond swings between Harsh and Sweet when it comes to Rory; she begins very Harsh, calling him her "sort-of boyfriend", while still being sweet to him, but softens up considerably--being overtly affectionate while sometimes swinging back into her angry behavior--after [[spoiler:watching him die. Twice.]]
** Amy also treats the Doctor in this manner during her first episode, swinging between ''Oh my God it's my Doctor!'' and ''[[AC:Twelve Years]] (and four psychiatrists)!''.

* Barbara Havers of ''TheInspectorLynleyMysteries'', who spends the vast majority of her time in ''tsun'' mode--particularly in the early series. As time and CharacterDevelopment go on, however, Lynley begins to bring out more and more of her ''dere'' side, until by the later series she is an equal mix of the two and her ''tsun'' side has mellowed. Her early defensive harshness is due to a number of factors, not the least of which is due to her being a BrokenBird with a FriendlessBackground and a DarkAndTroubledPast.

** The Twelfth Doctor begins very tsun in Series 8 to anyone who isn't Clara, and even then he acts tsun enough towards her that the budding romance seen with the Eleventh Doctor is sunk, Clara turns to a fellow teacher to get the affection she no longer received from the Doctor, and she nearly leaves him for good after he makes a harsh decision for her. Over time, particularly in Series 9, his personality mellows, he becomes softer and more sympathetic (though his tsun nature still emerges) and most notably, his relationship with Clara becomes noticeably more affectionate.
