!My Troper Tales (With 90% less bragging and ego-stroking!)
* AudioErotica: Scott [=McNeil=]. Good lord. He’s the main reason I like [[{{Gundam 00}} Ali]] as much. Also, [[{{Savatage}} Jon Olivia]]’s voice, while not beautiful, per se, has this absolutely sinister, gleeful tone to it in some songs that give it so much character, and I love that. Also from Savatage is Zachary Stevens, and damn near everyone in TransSiberianOrchestra, regardless of gender.
* AwesomenessWithdrawal: After watching Code Geass R2 as it came out, with the rest of the Internet. I didn’t watch any new anime for about a year and a half afterwards, though {{Gundam 00}} and helped fulfill my hot-boys-‘n’-mechs quota and ease me back into anime fandom. Currently I'm watching ''StarDriver'' to try and relive the experience, complete with over-the-top camp.
* CatchPhrase: “And I’m like, what ''is'' this?!” I also know a girl whose catch phrase is “Good time(s)”.
* CrackingUp: All day, e’ery day. Only my fingers, toes, and upper back, though.
* GuiltyPleasure: Neopets. I’m {{tsundere}} for it.
* HypeBacklash: Shut up. About. TheDarkKnight. It was a good movie, but the constant praise by obsessive fans has made me hate hearing about it anywhere. [[TropeOverdosed Which isn’t easy for me here...]] As well as OrderOfTheStick (I abhor the simplistic art style and I, despite being a D&D nerd, don’t think it’s funny, same goes for {{xkcd}}) and, while I’m actually a big fan, NeonGenesisEvangelion. It does not have to be on EVERY. DAMN. PAGE. And no, I didn’t find it depressing nor very mind-screwy.
* MostWonderfulSound: [[YourMileageMayVary Your mileage will definitely vary]], but I absolutely love the sound of knuckles/back/neck popping. Most satisfying sound ''ever''.
* {{Narm}}: A girl in my Creative Writing class wrote a story about a girl's experience in the afterlife. It was a serious, dark, and dramatic story, and it was going well until we learned that the main character had gotten there by hanging herself... from a ''ceiling fan''.
* NoodleIncident: “Saturday Night”.
* SheIsAllGrownUp: Boy I knew moved away in 7th grade. Came back in 10th. [[LongHairedPrettyBoy Oh my]]. Too bad he TookALevelInJerkass at the same time.
* TVTropesAsAGatewayDrug: Let’s see... ASongOfIceAndFire, ClanOfTheCaveBear, {{Oglaf}}, {{Conqueror}}, {{Gantz}}, a lot of good stuff. I have a folder in my bookmarks called “Things I Need to Check Out”, which is mostly TV Tropes pages.
* WackyHomeroom: My senior-year Creative Writing class. We had a [[CanadaEh very Canadian]] teacher, [[ThoseTwoGuys a]] [[AttentionWhore multi-]][[TheSilentBob grade-]][[PluckyComicRelief leveled]], [[LovableLibby varied]] [[TheStoner class]] [[TheDitz full]] [[SingleMindedTwins of]] [[DeadpanSnarker character]], a host of in-jokes (including hair weave, tipping your waiters, our teacher's supposed drug-ridden driving habits, RapeIsTheNewDeadParents / SuicideAsComedy, a particular student's habit of sweetly complementing everything someone wrote, and farms of ginger babies), and at one point, a fanfic written about us (someone's assignment; it caricatured the class perfectly).
