I'm a procrastinator who dreams of one day creating a video game series just as soon as I learn more about programming. Once I finally get started on it, I am going to have trouble stopping if what happened that last time I took a programming class is any indication. Ah, good memories... It was a business computer programming class (the '''only''' programming class that school had), and at one point, I started trying to create a turn-based strategy game that I called "Warclemage". It was rather simple, and the most unique thing about it besides its terribleness was that the spells in it were capable of affecting individual squares. There were just the standard fire-ice-electricity spells. The fire one would be able to turn ice/snow into water, water into normal ground, and normal ground into flame-covered ground. The ice one would create snow, extinguish flames, and freeze water. The electric spell would have a lower chance of starting fires than the fire spell, but would be able to spread out through water-covered squares. I even got to use it as my final exam project for the class (a final exam project that was done in the first semester instead the second semester for some reason). For those that remember me saying it was a business programming class, I love LoopholeAbuse (there was an ObviousRulePatch the very next year when I was a teacher's assistant). Anyway, eventually I started to goof off in the class by working on the game instead of the assignments for the class, and that's when the files for the game that were on the schools computer got put in a special folder where I wasn't allowed to access them (the equivalent of putting a child's favorite toy on top of a high shelf until they finish their homework). After that, I never did any programming on the game again... So I made a minesweeper clone and goofed off by playing that in the class instead. I eventually lost my copy of the files for the game, and haven't been able to work up the guts to start over.\\

Ever since those days, I've spent time thinking about what I'll do once I do start over on that game , which I'll do just as soon as I get back into a programming class.

Ever since I am currently exploring an interesting idea for writing. I decided to go to wikia and get my own wiki that I will use to tell stories that will have what I call "optional linearity". Basically, I'm dividing the story into story fragments that are rather short, covering about enough for two 4 panel comics. Those story fragments will each have their own page and contain links to other story fragments. Some of those days, I've spent time thinking links will be the usual previous and next links. Others will be used for just about what I'll do once I do start over on that game , which I'll do just as soon as I get back into a programming class.any trope in the CutToTheIndex page.
