I am this world's savior. I will cleanse your fear, sadness, and rage. Bliss for Gaia. Nirvana for the people. No wars. No bloodshed. No betrayal. I am the ultimate legacy of the Rikudou Sennin.
I was born into the Uchiha clan, at the time, a warring mercenary clan. We were rivals of the Senju Clan of the Forest, the other prominent legacy of the Rikudou Sennin. We were the only ones able to compete with eachother; when one lord hired the Senju, the rival lord is pushed to hiring the Uchiha, and vice-versa. Therefore, the man I encountered the most on the battlefield was the Senju leader, Senju Hashirama, an idealistic fool who believed he could verbally make peace with anyone. They were, nonetheless, worthy adversaries, and the fights were the most fun I frankly have ever had in my life.
We were born lucky, my brother and I. We must have inherited the most genes from the Rikudou Sennin at birth, as we were extremely powerful warriors even amongst the Uchiha. We were the first in recorded existence to awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan, the eyes of the ultimate warrior, with the power to ruin armies, but it also ruins ones eyesight. My brother, Izuna understood this, and therefore, his light lasted longer than mine. I was so blind and bathed in shame, my brother offered his eyes to me. It was then that my light was restored, and not only that, but the eyes were that of the ideal immortal warrior, as they were an eternal light that never exhausts. I promised my brother that I would use his eyes well and that I would create the future with them. Before my chance to test them out and fight Hashirama again...
Izuna was killed...
My brother, who fought for me and with me, my brother, who fought for the clan, '''my brother''', who saved my eyes and my life! He was killed! '''He meant everything to me!!!''' I was at a loss. I swore damnation on the Senju and prepared myself to monopolize the legacy of the Rikudou Sennin once and for all!
But my clansmen, not knowing what true pain of loss is, signed a peace treaty with the cursed Senju of the Forest. Together, Hashirama, his younger brother Senju Tobirama and I founded the village of Konohagakure. My rival, Hashirama, was chosen over me to become the Shodai Hokage. The Uchiha were pushed to the outskirts. Izuna was never even remembered...

I could not accept this turn of events.
My eyes were set on Hashirama. I pulled him out of the comfort of his office with the intent to kill, and we fought at the northern border of the Land of Fire.
I had two ultimate weapons, my eyes, and the Kyuubi. But Izuna's eyes proved not enough, and the Kyuubi was liberated from my control. I was in more disgrace then ever. '''I couldn't change a thing!''' My brother had to have been ashamed! '''No matter how hard we tried, we couldn't change anything!''' I was beaten, nearly as dead as I wished I was, with the weight of both clans on my psyche...
No...
I was far from finished. I obtained DNA from Hashirama from that fight. I went into hiding...
At a very old age, I became a God.
I obtained the very eyes of the Rikudou Sennin, the Rinnegan, and with that, I was able to summon the Gedo Mazo from the moon. To prolong my life I connected myself to the Mazo, and then, set a grand plan in motion...
I was to collect all of the Bijus, reunite them with the Mazo, and become one with the monstrosity that is resulted. I will then use this ultimate power to cast my eye on the moon and place the world under a genjutsu, where there will be no bloodshed, everyone will have their own world and their own dreams come true. Izuna's soul would be happy.
But I couldn't do it alone.
I entrusted my Rinnegan to a young Uzumaki child, and I rescued an Uchiha child to carry out my will. I used the Mazo to cultivate artificial humans, and when I finalized one, I placed my will into it. It was then that I entrusted the task to them and, satisfied with their resolve, died to rejoin my brother...
17 years later...
