* RoleReprisal: The full extent isn't clear, but most of the major roles appear to be reprised for ''Outsiders'' despite the half-decade gap between seasons. The one confirmed [[AuthorExistenceFailure exception]] is Vandal Savage, due to his voice actor Creator/MiguelFerrer's tragic passing in January 2017. A replacement hasn't yet been announced.

* CreatorsFavorite: Co-creator Greg Weisman has said that Black Canary is his favorite DC Comics character, which is partly why she's one of the team's mentors on the show.
* ChannelHop: Could actually be considered a ''medium'' hop. The first two seasons of ''Young Justice'' aired on Creator/CartoonNetwork. After being {{Uncancelled}}, ''Outsiders'' will air on DC's private streaming service to allow more creative control and avoid being ScrewedByTheNetwork again.

** This was likely the reason ''Outsiders'' and all subsequent seasons will be streaming-exclusive. This will ensure that no outside execs can screw them over like last time.

** In "Revelation", several of the Injustice Gang members didn't talk because, in Greg's words, they ''literally'' didn't have the budget to spare to hire actors for them - Atomic Skull, Black Adam and Ultra-Humanite became TheVoiceless as a result.
